Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's world education plays a vital role in coutries growth and development in right direction. There are lots of people in different nations carry on their education after completing high school after completing the school level study they are promoted to high level standard in case of upgrading the level of class the amount of courses are incresed and from my perspective wide range of course in different module will help to enhanced their knowledge skill and it is a very positive development.
Firstly, school is first step to entered herself in educational zone and their learning period begin there. In early stages they teachs us basic of every concept and learned the basic working of the module. After completing the school most of the people wants to learn it in advanced level and master their skills in specifiic field of study or department. Universities and colleges offered variety of courses for master the knowledge in their respected field.
In my opinion offering or increasing the range of courses is positive development for advancing the level of skill. For example, i completed my intermediate level in computer department and want to know more and more in computer science so i decided to continue my education and tool admission in university in my first sememter they offered some basic courses of computer related and than after every semester the number of courses increased towards the high level and i learned to much about programing i want to learned in my past.
To sum up, wide range of course is a positive development for the higher education and it will help the people to know and learned deeply in their respective department and it will help us in future in their practical life experience.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You clearly state that the wider range of courses is a positive development, and your personal example about studying computer science is relevant to the question. You also explain that further study can deepen knowledge and develop skills. However, the response addresses the two linked developments unevenly: it focuses mainly on course variety and gives little explanation of the broader increase in people continuing education after school. Several points, such as the benefits for future practical life, are asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific outcome. To strengthen the response, develop both aspects of the trend and show more clearly how course choice benefits students or society.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “For example,” and “To sum up” help signal the stages of your argument, and the computer-science example gives the third paragraph a clear focus. However, progression is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined in long, loosely connected sentences, especially in the opening. Some links are repetitive, and references such as “it” and “their” are not always clear. Organise each paragraph around one main point, use full stops to separate ideas, and make the relationship between the example and your argument explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “universities and colleges,” “advanced level,” “computer science,” and “programming,” so the reader can identify the subject of your argument. However, the range is limited and some phrases are repeated, particularly “positive development,” “courses,” and “learn.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “coutries,” “incresed,” and “tool admission,” which can distract the reader or make meaning less clear. Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, describe students as developing expertise or gaining practical skills, rather than relying repeatedly on general terms such as “learn” and “know.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses that explain reasons and give an example. However, complex sentences are often difficult to control, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence boundaries sometimes make the meaning unclear. Examples include “There are lots of people … carry on,” “they teachs us,” and “i want to learned”; these need forms such as “people … continue,” “they teach,” and “I wanted to learn.” The opening also runs several ideas together without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “which,” or “so.”
