Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the pressent time the number of student who want to study further study is higher after compliting there school most of the country therefore the availabality of university and college is also increased. In my point of view the excapt of this mind set is good and positive because it makes the children more educated and smart.

One of the most positive excapt of people become educated is there are many chance of job, devlopment and all the people can able to do any things by them selfs. If the person is educated he or she can easily do what ever they want just like build a business, work or chose the wright option. For instant my friend name dajraj he is a well educated person and he has the dream to become an army then by the education and hard work wight now he become the best offiter of army caded. As a result it help the people life style alot.

In the other hand, if is not only importent for geting job it also help person every expect just like start a business and earn huge amount of money by the knowledge.Education is not only just read a book and not the book only give the knowledge every part of the life is a knowledge education only help people to give more knowledge and oppertunity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is clear in the opening and conclusion: you consider the increase in further education positive. You also give relevant reasons, including improved job prospects and the ability to start a business, and the example of your friend pursuing a career in the army helps make one point more concrete. However, the response addresses the topic only partially because it focuses mainly on education’s benefits and says little about the increased range of courses mentioned in the prompt. Several claims, such as education helping people “do any things,” remain broad or unclear, and the second body paragraph repeats benefits rather than developing a distinct argument. Explain how wider course choice benefits students or society, and extend each reason with a clear explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reader can follow the general positive viewpoint. Some linking phrases, such as “As a result” and “In conclude,” signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is uneven: both body paragraphs largely repeat that education brings jobs, business opportunities and knowledge, rather than building separate points. The opening sentence is difficult to follow, and connections within the second body paragraph are unclear, particularly the shift from employment to knowledge and books. Use one main idea per paragraph, arrange supporting details in a clear order, and make references explicit so the reader can see how each example supports the argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “educated,” “business,” “knowledge,” “opportunity” and “development,” so the basic subject is identifiable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “education,” “knowledge” and “people.” Frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices—such as “excapt,” “availabality,” “wright option” and “offiter”—make parts of the response difficult to understand. Some combinations are also unnatural, for example “the best offiter of army caded” and “every part of the human life.” Build a reliable set of education-related collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; more precise vocabulary would help express your ideas without relying on repeated general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response generally communicates a positive opinion. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and longer attempts are often faulty, which sometimes makes meaning difficult to follow. For example, “the number of student who want to study further study is higher” has problems with number, clause structure and verb form, while “if is not only importent for geting job” lacks a clear subject and a complete grammatical pattern. There are also recurring errors with articles, plurals, agreement and punctuation, as in “it help the people life style alot.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for a complete subject and verb.
