Student answer (Band 5.5)

Education is the basic right of human being. Currently, a large number of people are enrolled in colleges and universities as well as new subjects are adding every years in courses. I firmly believe that this is constructive change.

Above all, techonology has changed the whole world in recent decade. Many new doors of study opened like Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity etc. In this chellenging situation there is need more need of individuals who got degrees in these new fields of knowlegde. Moreover, authorities should make policies about education sectors that student become more aware of recent trends and can choose right subject according to required employment fields.

On the other hand, Education sector has cruicial role in state's economy. Many students move to other countries and live there for getting education. It boost the revenue generating in many ways of restaurants, hostels, college, universities etc. For instance, every year many student going UK for education pupose. It's education sector is adding billion dollars in the economy and also other fields taking benefits like food , tourism.

From my perspective, an increase in subjects as well as in enrollment of higher study institution has a massive impact in progress overall. Old subjects are becoming useless rapidly and related to them jobs are disappearing. We need to go for new knowledge aquaring in educational buildigs.

To sum up, ta get admittion by numereous students for higher study is positive development because new courses are addind every year. There is need to new skilled persons according to digitalize world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the introduction—“I firmly believe that this is constructive change”—and you return to it in the conclusion. You address both increased enrolment and the wider range of courses, with relevant points about demand for technology-related skills and the economic contribution of international students. However, these aspects are not developed equally: the discussion of new subjects is more specific, while the economic point relies mainly on a broad claim about students going to the UK and spending on food and accommodation. The claim that old subjects are “becoming useless” is also sweeping and needs qualification or support. To strengthen the response, explain the benefits and possible drawbacks more fully and use a specific example to show how a new course or greater access to higher education helps society.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting related benefits, a further paragraph about changing employment needs, and a conclusion. Paragraphs generally have a clear central focus, and signposts such as “Above all,” “On the other hand,” and “To sum up” help readers follow the argument. Some connections are less clear or mechanical, however. “On the other hand” suggests a contrast, but the paragraph continues to support the positive position. The link between the economic benefits of international students and the later claim that older subjects are becoming obsolete is also abrupt. Improve progression by making each paragraph’s relationship to your main argument explicit, using contrast markers only for genuine contrasts, and adding clearer links between claims and examples.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “Artificial intelligence,” “cybersecurity,” “revenue,” and “employment fields,” and these choices help communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts of the response less natural, such as “techonology,” “knowlegde,” “revenue generating,” and “new knowledge aquaring.” Some phrases are also imprecise: “constructive change” is understandable but less idiomatic here than “positive development,” while “old subjects are becoming useless” overstates the point. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common academic collocations, and choose more precise wording when describing changes in education and employment.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “individuals who got degrees in these new fields” and a reason clause in the conclusion. The main ideas remain understandable, but errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction occur across the response. For example, “Many new doors of study opened” needs a suitable tense and article, and “It boost the revenue generating” has problems with subject–verb agreement and the structure after the verb. In “every year many student going UK,” the verb phrase and plural form are incomplete or inaccurate. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and finite verb, then check articles, plurals, and agreement, especially in longer sentences.
