Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear overall view—“this is positive”—and give relevant reasons, including improved employment opportunities, reduced poverty, and benefits to national development. However, the response addresses the topic only partially: it focuses mainly on more students and does not explain the increased range of university and college courses or weigh any possible disadvantages. The example comparing Bangladesh with Australia is introduced but left unfinished, so it does not support the point effectively. The response also contains 208 words, below the required 250, which limits the development of your argument. To strengthen the response, discuss both trends in the prompt, explain each reason with a clear cause-and-effect link, and complete a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is an attempt to organise the response into an introduction and a body paragraph, and linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “in this way,” and “For example” show an effort to connect ideas. However, the progression is difficult to follow because several points are crowded together, and the final example stops mid-sentence. Connections between claims are often unclear: the relationship between education, “work burden,” and country development needs explanation. Some transitions are also used mechanically rather than to show a precise relationship. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons, and conclusion, and make each paragraph develop one main idea. Complete sentences and clearer references to what “this” or “they” means would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “education sector,” “poverty rate,” “job sector,” and “country development,” so the reader can identify your general subject and position. However, the range is basic and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions strain understanding. Examples include “recomended,” “rissue,” “facilties,” and “preffeabblr”; phrases such as “positive start” and “the poverty rate is decrease down” are also imprecise or unnatural. Aim to learn accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “access to higher education,” “employment prospects,” and “economic development” would help you express your ideas clearly without relying on repeated general words like “more” and “good.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts to combine ideas using clauses, for example, “when more and more people is educated in country, they have also more social role awarnes,” but control of sentence structure is very limited and errors frequently make the meaning difficult to interpret. Subject–verb agreement is inconsistent (“people is educated,” “Educated people gets”), and articles and plurals are often missing or incorrect (“in country,” “the educated”). Verb forms are also faulty, as in “the poverty rate is decrease.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention: several sentences run together, while the final sentence is incomplete. Practise writing accurate simple sentences first, then join related ideas with correctly formed clauses. Check agreement, articles, verb forms, and full stops during revision.
