Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years people are continuing their education after school has increased and the range of courses available in university has also increased overtime and I think it is a huge success because higher study will help people to learn about world and understand how the world actually works. If the range of courses are larger it might be helpful for student to choose what is best for them out of all those options.
From what I believe it is defenitely a positive development and it also help in the development of the country. For instance there might be some difficulty in the begenning because of diversity in courses students might be confuse whether to choose this or that but if they have a clear consience it is defenitely beneficial. For example, there are many courses currently for students to choose after school where they can decide whether they want to become doctor, finance manager, teacher, painter, musician or dancer.
In today's time having clear view is really important and also has a great impact on student life if they have a strong vision they will be able to overcome every hurdle in life. For example, if a person have education and the other person have neither experience nor eucation they migt have some problems in future a head. In current time education have become key to everything in life.
In conclusion, having large range of education is no disadvantage but the other person defenitelly need to have clear sense and be able to choose the best career among all the options available.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You take a clear overall position, stating that the increase is “definitely a positive development,” and you give relevant reasons: education can support personal understanding and national development, while a wider course choice lets students pursue different careers. The examples of becoming a doctor, teacher, musician or dancer help illustrate this point. However, the discussion remains general and some claims are not fully explained. For instance, the comparison between an educated person and someone with “neither experience nor education” does not clearly show how the growth in course options benefits society. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or a specific example, and make the conclusion restate the benefits more directly. The response meets the stated length requirement; 13 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an opening position, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. Ideas are generally grouped by topic, and examples are introduced with “For instance” and “For example.” However, progression between points is limited: the discussion moves from course choice to having a “clear view,” then to education as a key to everything, without consistently showing how each point supports the central argument. Some linking is repetitive, and references such as “the other person” are unclear. The conclusion also introduces the need for a “clear sense” rather than neatly summarising the reasons already discussed. To improve, give each paragraph one main claim, explain it in sequence, and use clearer references and a wider range of linking expressions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “range of courses,” “development of the country,” “career,” and “education.” The examples of different professions also make the discussion understandable. However, the vocabulary range is limited and several choices or spellings are noticeably inaccurate, which sometimes makes the reader pause. Examples include “clear consience,” “a head,” “defenitely,” and “eucation.” Some phrases are also vague or unnatural, such as “clear view” and “key to everything in life.” Aim for more precise academic wording and check spelling carefully. For example, explain that a broader curriculum can help students pursue careers suited to their interests, rather than relying on broad claims about education being important.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “if they have a strong vision they will be able to overcome every hurdle in life.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles and verb forms occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. The opening, “In recent years people are continuing their education after school has increased,” is structurally unclear; a clearer version would be “In recent years, the number of people continuing their education after school has increased.” Other examples include “the range of courses are larger,” “it also help,” and “if a person have education.” Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking each sentence for a clear subject and main verb before adding complex clauses.
