Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays in several nations , the number of individuals pursuing further education after completing school has risen, and the variety of courses offered by universities and colleges has also expanded. As far as I am concerned, I think that it is positive development.
In one hand, the way the number of citizens continuing their study after school is a good thing that we all have to promote and have to cooperate to this type of things because I think education play a crucial role in a human life. Like we all heard a idiom, education is the key to success so that's why I believe that we all have to support this. For instance, if we don't gain the knowledge then we can't make any proper decision about ourselves even we can't find out what is wrong or right?
On the other hand, the way universities and colleges has soar the range of courses is good factor for the students who studied there in term of obtaining education it helps students to study a lot about everything in a very convenient way. For example if we have a lot of facilities about anything then we can easily those things without any difficulties and also if we face any kind of problems the we can easily tackle those kinds of issues in very good way.
overall, i think it's a good thing for the learner ever, because it helps a lot to them. As we all know that without education we can't do anything even we can't survive so that's why I believe it is good thing for all of us.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear overall view—“I think that it is positive development”—and discuss both increased participation in further education and the wider range of courses. However, the reasons remain broad and are not fully developed. The claim that education is “the key to success” is not followed by a specific explanation of how more people studying benefits individuals or society. Similarly, the point that more courses help students is unclear: explain how choice can match different interests or career needs, and give a relevant example. The conclusion repeats that education is important rather than drawing together the two developments. More focused, supported arguments would make the response address the question more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs beginning “In one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main sections. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited, and several ideas are repeated, particularly the general claim that education is beneficial. Linking phrases such as “For instance” and “For example” introduce examples, but the examples do not clearly develop the preceding claims. Some connections are also difficult to follow, as in “if we have a lot of facilities about anything then we can easily those things.” Build each paragraph around one clear reason, explain it, and connect the example directly to that reason; use transitions accurately and avoid repeating the same conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “further education,” “universities and colleges,” “knowledge,” and “courses,” so the main subject is clear. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “pursuing further education.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are repetitive or imprecise, including “good thing,” “a lot,” and “about anything.” Some word combinations are unnatural, such as “cooperate to this type of things” and “in term of obtaining education,” which can make the intended meaning harder to understand. Aim for precise phrases that explain the benefits, such as “broaden career opportunities” or “offer students greater choice,” and check collocations and word forms when revising.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional forms such as “if we don't gain the knowledge then we can't make any proper decision.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. Examples include “education play” instead of “education plays,” “universities and colleges has” instead of “have,” and “it is positive development,” which needs an article. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: the question mark in “what is wrong or right?” is not appropriate within the statement, and several sentences run together. Practise subject–verb agreement, articles, and complete sentence patterns, then proofread each sentence for punctuation and grammatical accuracy.
