Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays education plays a vital role in everyones life. Every person wants to get higher education for their b etter future. Colleges and univercities also offered variety of courses to people who wants to study higher. In my opinion this is really good thing to get education after school not only for better job opportunities but also for better life style. This eassay will further elaborate the positive impact of avaliable course after school. Thus will lead to a logical conclusion.

The first and foremost postive impact is that now students have noy only more options regarding to courses but also have more universities and colleges to get enrolled. So students can multiple choices for choosing degrees and institutions. For exqmple, some times average pupiles did not get enrolled cause of low grades in schools if their is multiple educational instituitions and post secondry educational courses available they can also get higher education. Categorically discussing, If more colleges and universities are available educational institutions do not create monopoly. For instance, if same course available in different places every collgeate want more peers as a result they decreased their tution fees as compare to their competitiors.

However, their are also some pittfalls because of more courses and universities availble students can not eassialy decide where to get enrolled or what to stiudy? Moreover, some institutions also take advantage by making not only worst courses which are not worth to studies but also they charge heavy fees to students for these type of courses.

To conclude, students should aware of what degrees they are going to get enrolled in universities and also a good consultaion can provide before enrollments to pupiles.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You give a clear opinion that the increase is positive, and you address both the wider choice of courses and institutions and a possible drawback. Your points about access for students with lower grades and competition potentially reducing tuition fees are relevant examples. However, these ideas are not equally developed: the access point is difficult to follow, and the claim that competition lowers fees would benefit from a clearer explanation or a specific illustration. The paragraph on drawbacks mentions indecision and poor-value courses, but does not explain how serious these effects are or balance them against the benefits. A more fully developed discussion of each main point would make your response more convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a main paragraph supporting your view, a paragraph acknowledging drawbacks, and a conclusion. This gives the reader an overall route through your argument. Some linking is effective, such as “However” to introduce the opposing point, but other transitions feel mechanical or do not express a clear relationship: “Thus will lead to a logical conclusion” is an unnecessary signpost, and “Categorically discussing” does not clearly connect the next idea. Within the first body paragraph, the move from access to competition and fees could be made more explicit. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then connect examples directly to that point with clear referencing.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “higher education,” “job opportunities,” “institutions,” “monopoly,” and “tuition fees,” so the reader can understand the subject and your main ideas. However, the range and control are limited by repeated general wording such as “more” and “good,” awkward combinations such as “get enrolled,” and several spelling errors, including “universcities,” “avaliable,” and “competitiors.” Some choices also make meaning unclear, for example “worst courses which are not worth to studies.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for course quality, student choice, and affordability would help you express your argument with greater clarity and flexibility.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the contrast in “not only for better job opportunities but also for better life style” and the conditional idea beginning “if there is multiple educational institutions.” However, some sentence structures are faulty or incomplete, which sometimes makes the argument harder to follow. For example, “So students can multiple choices” is missing a verb, while “Every person wants to get higher education” and “students should aware” show problems with articles or verb patterns. There are also errors in agreement and sentence construction, as in “institutions do not create monopoly.” Practise building complete clauses and checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb patterns; this will make your varied sentence attempts more reliable.
