Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a clear positive position, stating that wider access to colleges and a broader range of courses benefit society. Relevant examples include specialist courses and the contribution of education to professions, trade and agriculture. However, the task is only partially addressed: these claims are mostly asserted rather than explained, and the response does not consider any possible disadvantages or develop a balanced rationale for why the overall change is positive. The conclusion is cut off at “To conclude, i re”, so it does not complete your argument. The response also contains 220 words, below the required 250. Develop two or three main reasons with specific explanations or examples, and finish with a complete conclusion that restates your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to access, course variety and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “On the other hand”, “In addition” and “Furthermore” show an effort to connect ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the discussion moves quickly from new courses to doctors and scientists, then literacy, trade and crop yields without explaining the links. “On the other hand” also introduces another positive point rather than a contrasting view. Repeated connectors such as “Morever” make the writing feel mechanical, and the unfinished final sentence prevents a clear ending. Organise each paragraph around one main reason and use linking phrases only where their relationship is accurate.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “literacy rate”, “economic life”, “agricultural field” and “modified education”, and the reader can generally identify your intended positive argument. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “course work also ellaborated”, “people are getting colleges access” and “sale our productions”. Spelling errors—including “familarize”, “globel” and “doos”—also reduce precision. Some expressions, such as “extra” and “current era”, are repeated or too vague for an academic essay. Build a more precise vocabulary for access, course provision and social outcomes, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use some simple sentences and attempt longer structures, for example the sentence beginning “Furthermore, the literacy rate increased…”, but the range is limited and complex attempts are often difficult to follow. Frequent errors in tense, articles, agreement and sentence construction include “in current era the education system became”, “people were facing many transport issuesand have no access”, and “the purpose of introducing of these books in course”. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “Here i” and the crowded list “doctors, scientist, engineers”. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking tense consistency, articles and punctuation.
