Student answer (Band 6.0)

Nowadays, a growing number of school leavers are going to university and colleges after school for their higher education, variety of courses are available in current time in every university and college, I truly beileve this is one of most Positive sign in education department and beneficial for students that they can be more skilled.

Back in late 90's and early 20's, education system were at mediocre level students stay confused after their graduation that what job they should hustle for and that is main concern for students at that time they don't want to continue higher education, in my opnion shortage of courses and skills provided to student at that time were not at best level. Every young person just wants to become engineer, doctor or just want to go in army nothing more than that. But in today's era after technology taking over the world day by day we can see a 360 degree change in education department and the courses they are providing now a days were far better than before and students are more excited to pursue their study and reach the highest level. Job market has been also growing day by day after so many skilled students are graduating which also make a huge impact on world economy. For instance the field in media is so wide and there are so many range of courses now a days but from last 2 or 3 years many universities around the world offering a new course "AI film making" and many students are particpating in this exciting domain. The most beneficial factor about this course is that no student have to depend on job interview or their positive response. They can go for their own social media accounts while studying and start working and by the end of their studies they can make their self financialy very stable.

New courses should be added every year so it will motivate many students to pursue their studies and get a better life instead of working in odd places

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear: you consider the growth in further education and course choice positive, and you give relevant reasons, including improved skills, employment opportunities and students’ ability to earn through social media. The example of an AI filmmaking course also helps illustrate how newer subjects can create options. This covers the task and shows some development beyond simply stating an opinion. However, the discussion is uneven: the claims about the earlier education system and the effect on the world economy are broad and not fully explained, and the final recommendation that courses should be added every year is not supported with a reason or qualification. Develop these points with clearer explanation and specific evidence to make the argument more consistently convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has an overall progression from your opinion, to a comparison with the past, and then to a contemporary example and recommendation. The AI filmmaking example is placed within the discussion of new courses, so the reader can follow its relevance. However, the second paragraph carries many different points in one long sequence, moving from past career choices to technology, the job market and social-media income. Several ideas are joined mainly with “and” or “but,” which makes the relationships between them less clear and sometimes mechanical. Use separate paragraphs for distinct stages of the argument, and make links explicit—for example, explain how course variety leads to particular employment benefits. A more developed conclusion would also give the essay a clearer sense of closure.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “higher education,” “pursue their study,” “job market,” “skilled students” and “financially stable.” These choices help communicate your main ideas, and phrases such as “AI filmmaking” make the example specific. However, word choice and collocation are often imprecise or informal: “education department” does not naturally describe the education system, “hustle for” is unsuitable for an academic essay, and “odd places” is vague. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “beileve,” “opnion,” “particpating” and “financialy.” Aim for more precise academic phrasing and check spelling carefully; this would make your meaning clearer and show more controlled use of vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a time contrast with “Back in late 90’s and early 20’s” and a longer explanation beginning “The most beneficial factor about this course…”. This shows an effort to connect ideas and vary sentence forms. However, many sentences contain errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries. For example, “education system were” should use a singular verb, while “no student have to depend” needs agreement and a more suitable verb form. The opening is a comma splice, joining several complete ideas without correct punctuation, and the long second paragraph makes sentence control difficult. Practise building accurate shorter sentences first, then combine them with subordinate clauses and check agreement and punctuation.
