Student answer (Band 6.0)
In modern world, the proportion of people opting for higher education has risen and variety of courses are being offered in universities and colleges. This essay is of the fact that increase in the number of people participating in advanced education and number of courses being offered for high school and undergraduate students is a positive impact as it is a source of finer career options for students also for higher earnings and job security.
From my perspective, continuation of higher educations, also universities offering a range of courses is a positive development as it opens up various career paths for the students. A student with a degree and knowledge of several courses can open doors of profession that require formal qualifications. Like engineering jobs, require a bachelors or masters degree in order to offer students a position in their company, even for an internship.
Another favorable outcome of higher learning and multiple courses being offered is that individuals can easily secure a high paying job for themselves. In today's world businesses and companies are looking for a skilled person with more knowledge and experience as compared to undergraduates. For instance two people applying for a software job, one with expertise and knowledge of one language lets say Python, on the other hand the second person with the grip on, multiple languages like Java, HTML/CSS also having fresh knowledge about the particular field, make the second person eligible for the job position.
In conclusion universities and colleges offering various courses and students showing interests in higher learning also in courses is a positive development as it is can guarantee a fix spot in an organization also can open various doors of career paths.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you consider the growth in higher education and course choice positive. You address both developments and give relevant reasons, especially access to careers requiring qualifications and the value of specialised skills in employment. The engineering and software examples help make these points concrete. However, the discussion is not equally developed: the first body paragraph mainly asserts that degrees open career paths, while the second gives more explanation of why employers value skills. The claim that education “can guarantee a fix spot in an organization” is also too absolute and is not supported. Develop the benefits with more precise explanation and acknowledge that qualifications do not guarantee employment.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate benefits, and a conclusion that restates your view. Linking phrases such as “From my perspective,” “Another favorable outcome,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow. This coherent arrangement meets the lower-band expectations, and the distinct paragraph focus shows some control of organisation. To make the progression more flexible and precise, reduce formulaic signposting and connect examples more directly to the claims they support. For instance, the engineering example could explain how a relevant degree prepares applicants for the role. The final sentence repeats several ideas from the introduction rather than drawing the argument together, and “it” in “as it is can guarantee” has an unclear reference.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “higher education,” “formal qualifications,” “skilled,” “expertise,” and “career paths.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and attempts at more specific language, such as “bachelors or masters degree” and the software-language example, suit the subject. Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, however: “finer career options,” “higher educations,” “high paying job,” and “fix spot” weaken precision. “Grip on, multiple languages” is also an awkward expression. Aim for natural academic collocations and check word forms and punctuation around technical examples. More precise phrasing would help you express the benefits without relying on broad or absolute claims.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause with “as” and a comparison between two job applicants. The main meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “In modern world” needs an article, and “increase in the number … and number of courses” has inconsistent article use. In “a student … can open doors of profession,” the singular noun phrase needs a clearer grammatical form; “Like engineering jobs, require…” is also an incomplete sentence. The final clause, “as it is can guarantee,” contains an unnecessary verb form. Review articles, singular and plural forms, and sentence boundaries, then proofread longer sentences to ensure each clause is complete and correctly connected.
