Student answer (Band 6.0)
Most countries offer a wide variety of subjects in the colleges and universities that attract people and also the trend of getting education after school is increasing day-by-day. According to my point of view, it is a positiv development as educated citizens are the heart of a nation, moreover, people can get more opportunities by getting higher education.
To live in today's world, it is essential for all the people to get a high education, furthermore, people are even motivated to study abroad in world recognized institutes so that one may have a bright future. In older times, people did not care about the education and they used to bring their child in the same proffession as them. Now-a-days people want their children to get good education so that they can become more successful. For example, my friend's forefathers used to do same spice business, however, his father is a doctor and she is becoming a lawyer.
Educated people play a very important role in a country's progress and prosperity. Moreover, universities are offering such programs that grab the attention of youth, as a result, students choose their subjects ccording to their interest. People even prefer to study abroad so that they can get a high quality education and they can get more doors to success. For example, my brother has recently got addmission in Germany , he is going to persue his master's degree in DVM.
To conclude with, it is essential to get education for the people so that they can enjoy their lives by getting their dream job and by getting mental satisfaction.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you consider the growth in further education and course choice a positive development. You support this with relevant points about career opportunities, national progress and students choosing subjects that interest them, and the examples of your friend’s family and your brother help make the discussion concrete. However, the response focuses more on the value of education generally than on the two developments in the prompt, especially the expanding range of courses. Some claims, such as education being essential for everyone, are broad and would benefit from explanation or qualification. Develop the link between greater course choice and specific benefits, and explain your examples more fully to make the argument more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two supporting paragraphs and a conclusion, and the main position is easy to follow. Ideas are generally grouped by topic: the first body paragraph discusses changing attitudes to education, while the next considers national progress and study choices. However, the progression between these points is not always clear, and several sentences rely on connectors such as “moreover,” “furthermore” and “as a result,” sometimes making the links feel mechanical. The conclusion repeats the general importance of education rather than drawing together the specific arguments. Use clearer topic sentences and make each paragraph develop one distinct reason, with more precise references between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of vocabulary for the topic, including “educated citizens,” “progress and prosperity,” “mental satisfaction” and “recognized institutes.” These choices communicate your main ideas, but some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “get a high education,” “get more doors to success” and “grab the attention of youth.” Spelling errors, including “positiv,” “proffession,” “addmission” and “persue,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural academic phrasing and check spelling carefully. For example, use “pursue higher education” rather than “get a high education,” and “open up more opportunities” rather than “get more doors to success.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “so that” and “however,” and most of the message remains understandable. Some grammatical errors occur in sentence construction and punctuation. For instance, “According to my point of view, it is a positiv development …, moreover” joins ideas awkwardly, while “they used to bring their child in the same proffession as them” has unclear number and reference. In “students choose their subjects ccording to their interest,” the singular “interest” does not agree naturally with the plural subject and possessive. Review sentence boundaries, agreement and pronoun reference, and use a wider range of accurately controlled complex structures. These improvements would make your argument smoother and more precise.
