Student answer (Band 5.0)
In contemporary society, the rising of courses avaiable at universities and colleges has increased significantly because the demanding of continuous education after school of citizens. Although there are some drawbacks of continuing learning, I would argue that there are far more drawbacks.
There is a reasonable case that causing negative development. First of all, when a numerous people attend to universities or colleges, the labour standard is not enough to provide for factory or industries, causing the downward trend the employment rate. Moreover, too many people study, it will not enough the atmostphere or devices to provide for them. For instance, the rate of student suddently grow sharply, tools, chairs or table is not enough for each person. Furthermore, the teacher teaching may not enough with the number of the student, causing diffence in both group.
Despite the negatives, I believe continuing education will brings more benefits. People will have the sustainable knowlegde to attend to major projects or work with celebrities to gain more experiences. After graduating, they can completely business by their own or promote highly position in office, leading to boost the economy of country. Although they have to spend too much time efforting, they gain more advantages in the long run.
In conclusion, although continuing education after school brings some negative effects, they provide more beneficials for student. They can develop themslves to gain higher profits such as the owner, manage in office, or even ceblerities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a clear overall preference for continuing education, especially in the final two paragraphs, and you attempt to consider both disadvantages and benefits. However, the opening says there are “far more drawbacks,” which conflicts with your later claim that education brings “more benefits,” so your position is not consistently clear. The negative points about labour shortages and limited facilities are relevant, but the examples are brief and not fully explained; the benefits are also asserted rather than supported with a specific example. The response is also 10 words below the required minimum. To strengthen the response, state one consistent position and develop each main reason with a clear explanation and a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on disadvantages, a paragraph on benefits, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “First of all,” “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help signal the sequence of points. However, progression is weakened by the contradiction between “far more drawbacks” and “more benefits,” and some connections between ideas are unclear. For example, the link between more university students and a falling employment rate is not explained, while “causing diffence in both group” does not make the intended relationship clear. The conclusion repeats the benefits but does not resolve the conflicting position. Use clearer topic sentences and explain how each example supports its paragraph’s main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and employment, including “continuous education,” “labour standard,” “employment rate,” and “boost the economy.” These choices show an effort to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts difficult to understand, such as “the rising of courses,” “the demanding of continuous education,” and “completely business by their own.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-form errors, including “avaiable,” “knowlegde,” and “beneficials.” Aim to learn common academic collocations and check word forms and spelling. More precise language would help you express the intended arguments without relying on vague phrases such as “more advantages.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You try to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “Although” and participle phrases such as “causing the downward trend.” This gives the response some structural variety. However, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors in sentence formation, agreement, articles, and verb forms frequently make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “when a numerous people attend to universities” has problems with the noun phrase and verb pattern, while “People will have the sustainable knowlegde” and “continuing education will brings” show errors in article use and agreement. Some sentences also lack a clear main clause, as in “First of all, when a numerous people…” Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement and articles.
