Student answer (Band 6.0)
Today in many nations, the individuals are continuing their higher education after schooling, and the excessive new variety of the courses are now available in various universities and colleges. From my perspective, I partially agree with this development, Although this has created many opportunities, their are some draw backs, which cannot be neglected.
Many students are now pursuing the higher studies after schooling as compare with the past, for the search of better opportunites and jobs in their respective fields. The literacy rate of many countries had increased sharply over few last decades, which results in low crime rate and poverty. Additionlly the universities are now providing variety of new courses, which might be helpful for many studets to find their passion and choose the field they are most interested. Furthermore it helped many private firms, universities, schools and individuals to generate source of income for their families while running the educational institutions.
The draw backs cannot be ignored, many advanced and competative private schools and universities are now charging higher fee, due to the fact many people are choosing them. So it has created a sense of unequality in our surroundings, where rich and influentical people can efford better education while poor even struggless to find a placement. The variety of new courses may led into choosing a wrong career and somtimes having too much otions make you annoying and depressed.
In conclusion, the world is changing rapidly towards more technical fields so students need to preare for it. The role of government should be create equal opportunities for everyone and provide schalorships to needy students because they can compete with others. Their should be training for students on career councelling while choosing their field and interest.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both the growth in post-school education and the wider choice of courses, and your position—that the development has benefits but also drawbacks—is clear. Relevant points include improved employment prospects, lower poverty and crime, unequal access to expensive institutions, and the risk of students choosing unsuitable courses. This breadth supports the response well. However, some ideas are asserted rather than explained: for example, the link between higher literacy and lower crime is not illustrated, and the claim that course variety can cause depression needs clarification or an example. Your conclusion offers government support and career guidance, but does not clearly weigh the benefits against the disadvantages. Develop and support these points more fully to make the argument consistently convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, one on drawbacks, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a coherent overall route through your argument, and signposts such as “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” help identify the stages. Some connections, however, feel mechanical or unclear. The benefits paragraph moves from employment to literacy, then to institutional income without showing how each point supports your position. The reference in “their are some draw backs” is also unclear, and the drawbacks paragraph combines unequal access with course-choice concerns without developing a clear link between them. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s main point and add transitions that explain relationships, rather than relying mainly on listing connectors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “higher education,” “literacy rate,” “private firms,” “unequality,” and “career councelling,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “pursuing the higher studies” and “generate source of income.” However, inaccurate word forms, spelling, and collocations are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: examples include “opportunites,” “competative,” “efford,” “struggless,” and “too much otions.” Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “the individuals are continuing their higher education” and “make you annoying.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary for access, affordability, and career choice would help you express the argument with greater flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a concession in the introduction (“Although this has created many opportunities…”) and a reason clause beginning “due to the fact…”. This shows some range, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, grammatical errors recur in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries. For instance, “the variety … are” should use a singular verb, while “as compare with the past” needs a correctly formed comparison. The sentence beginning “The draw backs cannot be ignored” joins two independent ideas with a comma, and “The role of government should be create” has an incorrect verb pattern. Review subject–verb agreement, verb forms after modal verbs, and punctuation between clauses; then proofread each sentence for a complete, correctly connected structure.
