Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, education after school is increased in many countries because of the range of courses in universities and colleges has also increased. According to my aspects, it is a positive development for students.
There are several reasons for this one could go on a list, and a few of them are mentioned below. Firstly, students intersest in science and technology is increased due to which many unitersities and colleges provide more course options. Moreover, it is beneficial for students as they give choices and flexibility in education. So, students can have successful future, as new job opportunities are available for them. Many companies hire recently graduate students, they can start earning money as soon as possible.
Secondly, many developing nations like India, China and indonesia are investing money in education system as they are facing issues like unemployment and low literacy rate. Furthermore, many international companies, universities and colleges are setuping their branches because of the future potential. Many graduates can work in these institutes and can create jobs for local people of the country. However, It help to improve reduce unemployement rate and can increase the standard of living. Thus investment in education sector is best way to tackle some major problems for a nation.
In conclusion, it is evident that continuing educaton after school is increasing because of the course availability and also helps to remove poverty, unemployement and low standard of living in a nation. Furthermore, many international companies, univercity and colleges are investing in developing countries. Which is a positive development for students, teachers, and for local individuals also.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you consider the growth in post-school education a positive development, and both body paragraphs offer relevant reasons. You connect wider course choice with students’ interests, employment prospects and flexibility, then discuss investment in education as a way to address unemployment and improve living standards. However, the response only partly develops the task. The link between more courses and the increase in people continuing education is asserted rather than explained, and claims such as graduates creating local jobs or education reducing poverty need a specific example or clearer reasoning. The conclusion also introduces teachers and local individuals without developing their relevance. Develop fewer points more fully and support them with concrete examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify your main position and supporting points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and linking expressions can feel mechanical or inaccurate. For example, “However” introduces a result rather than a contrast in “However, It help to improve reduce unemployement rate,” while “Which is a positive development” is an incomplete follow-on in the conclusion. Some ideas are also joined without showing their relationship, as in the sentence about companies hiring graduates. Use connectors only when their meaning fits, and make each paragraph develop one central point in a clear sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “course options,” “job opportunities,” “unemployment,” “literacy rate” and “standard of living.” These choices make the general subject clear, and you attempt to express ideas about education and economic development. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form and collocation errors reduce precision: “intersest,” “unitersities,” “setuping,” “educaton” and “univercity” are examples. Phrases such as “education after school is increased” and “investing money in education system” are also unnatural. Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; more precise phrasing will help you explain your arguments without relying on broad or repetitive expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, using structures such as “because,” “as” and “which,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “education after school is increased” uses an unsuitable verb form, and “many companies hire recently graduate students, they can start earning money” joins two independent clauses incorrectly. There are also agreement and sentence-boundary problems in “However, It help to improve reduce…” and the fragment “Which is a positive development…”. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, verb forms and punctuation, and make complex sentences shorter until you can control their structure reliably.
