Student answer (Band 5.5)
In many countries these days, the majority of people continuing their studies after school has increased, and the range of courses available at universities and colloges has also increased. In my opinion, this is a positive development for the students due to the several reasons, the very first impact is that students have the more opportunities and paths for choosing their future education and the second one is that as the comparison increased the best guidence provided to the student.
As the number of courses available at the universities and colleges, students have the opportunity to choose their feild easily. In addition, students have the free hand to decide their future plans that what they can do in their upcoming life. for example, in the past time childrens choose their father profession forcefully. The son of doctor is also a doctor and the son of farmer is also become a farmer. but in the present time everyone have their own decision to choose their feild throught this development.
on the other hand, every college and universities launch their own short and long courses. As the increasing comparison, the main benefit for the student is that best education provided to the students bcz in this competetive era every college and university should hire a capable tutor for the better studies which advertise the instiute as well.Futhermore, students have the free hand to choose the best institute for them. Students no more panic about choosing their scope, they decided it freely without any pressure.
In conlusion, my point of thinking is that this development in education have very positive impact on every student. Now a day, students have more opportunities then past times. Present time students have more time to choose their feild for future earnings.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that the increase is positive and offer two relevant reasons: students have more choice, and competition may encourage institutions to provide better teaching. The examples about children no longer having to follow a parent’s profession and colleges hiring capable tutors help illustrate these points. However, the explanation remains general, and the second reason is not fully established: you assert that competition improves education but do not explain how this leads to better outcomes for students. The opening also inaccurately says the “majority” has increased, rather than the number of people continuing their education. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation or specific example, and maintain a precise focus on both increased participation and course choice.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas are grouped broadly by reason. Linking expressions such as “In addition,” “on the other hand” and “Furthermore” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and some links do not express the intended relationship: “on the other hand” introduces another supporting benefit rather than a contrast. The first body paragraph also moves quickly from course choice to family professions without fully connecting the example to the main point. Repeated references to “free hand” and “students” make the flow repetitive. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main claim, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence; choose linking phrases according to the actual relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “opportunities,” “future plans,” “competitive era” and “capable tutor,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “free hand,” “students” and “choose their field.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “guidence,” “feild,” “competetive” and “instiute,” which reduce accuracy and can slow the reader. Some expressions are unnatural, including “best guidance provided to the student” and “students no more panic about choosing their scope.” Build a more precise set of education-related collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “career options” or “areas of study” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “as,” “which” and “that,” but complex structures are often not controlled successfully. For example, “the majority of people continuing their studies after school has increased” has a subject–verb and meaning problem, while “the second one is that as the comparison increased the best guidance provided” is difficult to follow because the clause structure and verb forms are incomplete. Errors also occur in agreement and articles, as in “everyone have” and “the more opportunities,” and in sentence boundaries, such as the lower-case “for example” after a full stop. These recurring errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses only when their grammar is secure.
