Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, in several countries. The proprotion of individuals continuing their education after school has increased, or the range of courses avaliable at universities and colleges has also increased. I argue that there are both positive or negative development. Due to there are both benefirts or drawbacks. As the result this essay will give both positive or negative development.
To begin with, the advantages of students who continue their study after school. It is very excellence choice of students because the reason is that in future they face no difficulty related to their job. They will make a lot of income to complete their education. So, they well-settled their life style. However, the range of courses at universities are also increased. Students select their favourite subjects according to their mindset. For instance, these type of students achieve their desire goals in their own life.
Secondly, the negative development. The range of courses is not good for students because some universities and colleges have their own rules to selecting their subjects. Some universities have their own subjects which is unuseful in future because the reason is that these subjects has no scope in future. So, some students prefer to work not go to universities and colleges. For instance, everyone dream to achieve their goals but university regulation and rules cannot choose student favourite subject so, the student cannot go to university.
In contrast, I beleive that there are both positive or negative development related to the avaliability of courses. Universities should eyes own these development to increase the education system.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the question by presenting both benefits and drawbacks, and your position is that the development has positive and negative aspects. Relevant points include improved job prospects and the ability to choose courses that match students’ interests. However, the response does not clearly decide whether the development is positive or negative overall, despite the question asking for a judgement. The drawbacks are also only partly explained: for example, you say some courses have “no scope in future,” but do not clarify the consequences or support this with a specific example. Develop fewer points more fully, and state a consistent overall view in the introduction and conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To begin with” and “Secondly” help identify the intended structure. However, the progression between ideas is not always clear. The opening repeats the claim that there are positive and negative aspects, while “In contrast” introduces the conclusion without a clear contrast. Some links are also difficult to follow, such as the connection between students’ future income and being “well-settled.” Within paragraphs, several ideas are placed together without explaining how one leads to the next. Organise each paragraph around one main point, explain it, and use linking phrases only when they accurately show the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “continuing their education,” “range of courses,” “universities and colleges,” and “job.” This gives the response a basic vocabulary base, but the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear. For example, “very excellence choice,” “well-settled their life style,” and “universities should eyes own these development” are not natural expressions. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “proprotion,” “avaliable,” “benefirts,” and “beleive.” Build a bank of accurate phrases for discussing education and employment, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would help express your ideas without relying on repeated general wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including clauses introduced by “because” and “which,” but the longer attempts are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “there are both positive or negative development,” “the reason is that in future they face no difficulty,” and “these subjects has no scope.” There are recurring problems with subject–verb agreement, singular and plural forms, articles, and sentence boundaries. The opening also contains fragments, such as “Nowadays, in several countries.” Practise building accurate complete sentences first, then combine ideas using one clear subordinate clause. Check agreement and whether each sentence has a complete subject and verb.
