IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The pie charts below show responses by teachers of foreign languages in Britain to a survey concerning why their students are learning a foreign language. The first chart shows the main reason for learning a foreign language. The second chart shows how many teachers felt that there has been a recent change in the reason.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The pie chart illustrates the responses by teachers of foreign languages in Britain to a survey concerning why their students are learning a foreign language.

Overall, first pie chart shows percentage of teacher reporting the main reason for learning a foreign language earlier with highest percent is travel followed by business/work and buying property overseas whereas lowest to foreign partner and general interest. Second pie chart shows reason recent increase in people learning language with highest ranked to buying property overseas and lowest to travel.

Regarding the highest percentage in the first chart was of travel with 33% followed by work and buying property overseas with 26% and 19% respectively with in contrast to the second chart highest percentage is of buying property overseas 34% which is doubled than earlier. Then there is decline in percentage of work with 19% at second position.

Turning to the lowest percentage in the first chart was of foreign partner with 3% followed by general interest at 5% and personal development and social contracts at 7% whereas in the other chart lowest is travel with 3% which was highest in first chart followed by foreign partner increased a little from past and personal development both at 4%. At last it's general interest at 5%.
