Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response covers the main features of both charts, but the analysis is somewhat inconsistent. While you identify key figures, the description of the second chart is confusing. For instance, you state that 'buying property' had the highest change, but the phrasing 'the number of teacher who was increased in individuals learning more in buying property' is unclear and grammatically awkward. Additionally, the comparison between the two charts is not fully developed. To improve, ensure you clearly distinguish between the 'most common reason' and the 'recent change' data, and use more precise language to describe trends rather than simply listing percentages.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'At a fleeting glance' are not appropriate for an academic report, and transitions between sentences are sometimes abrupt. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the comparison between travel and other categories is confusingly phrased. Improving the flow between sentences and using a wider range of linking words would significantly enhance the logical progression of your report.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward word choice, such as 'highest teachers report' and 'the least figure among other'. You rely on basic descriptors and struggle with collocations related to data reporting. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary to describe statistics, such as 'accounted for', 'constituted', or 'represented', and ensure you use terms like 'proportion' or 'percentage' correctly rather than repeating 'percent' or 'percentage' in a repetitive manner.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('the number of teacher who was increased'), incorrect verb tenses ('had seen the same'), and awkward sentence structures ('followed by the26% business/ work contributed'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often faulty. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement and article usage will help improve your accuracy.
