The pie charts below show responses by teachers of foreign languages in Britain to a survey concerning why their students are learning a foreign language. The first chart shows the main reason for learning a foreign language. The second chart shows how many teachers felt that there has been a recent change in the reason.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The pie charts provides information about the responses by teachers of foreign languages in British to a survey concerning why their students are leaning a foreign language. The first chart presents the main reason for learning language. The second chart illustrates how many teachers felt that there has been a recent change in the reason.

Overall, the proportion for travel recoded highest as compared to the proportion for business and buying property overseas, while the percentage for foreign partner followed by smallest during the period. In the second chart, the proportion for buying property overseas stood at highest as compared to others, whereas the percentage for travel presented smallest in the period.

In the first chart, the proportion for travel stood at 33%. The percentage for business recorded 26% and highest as compared the percentages of buying property overseas and general interest They were 19% and 5% respectively, whereas the percentage for social contacts and personal development remained unchanged as 7%. Furthermore, the proportion for foreign partner recorded 3% and also smallest throughout the period.

In the second chart, the percentage for buying property overseas stood at 34% and also highest as compared to the percentage for business work, while the proportions for general interest ,travel, foreign partner and personal development presented 6%, 3%, 4% and 4% respectively. The percentages for social contacts and no change recorded remained stable like 15%.
