The pie charts below show responses by teachers of foreign languages in Britain to a survey concerning why their students are learning a foreign language. The first chart shows the main reason for learning a foreign language. The second chart shows how many teachers felt that there has been a recent change in the reason.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The pie charts illustrates the information about the responses of survey by teachers of foreign languages in britain. The survey was all about why students are learning a foreign language and it shows the reasons in the chart. In addtition, second chart shows the recent changes in the reasons.

Overall, the most common reasons for learning foreign language are travel, buissness or work related, or buying overseas property. In addtion,the reasons got a little bits of changes in which buying overseas property ratio get increased and travel got a huge decreased in it.

First of all the most common reasons for learniing foreign langage in which the most least reason are foreign partner, general interest.In addition, social contact and personal development got the same percentage around 7%. Futhermore, travel purpose has a huge ratio which 33% of the whole chart.

Recently, there are some changes in the reasons. Travel purpose got the huge dropped from 33% to 3%. and buissness or work releated reason also a sharp dropped to around 19% from 26%. However, buying overseas property ratio have skyrocketed to around 34%.
