The pie charts below show responses by teachers of foreign languages in Britain to a survey concerning why their students are learning a foreign language. The first chart shows the main reason for learning a foreign language. The second chart shows how many teachers felt that there has been a recent change in the reason.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The pie charts illustrate the proportion of teachers of Britian from the survey stating why their pupils are learning non-native language.

Overall, according to the Britian educators, travel is the most common reason around 33% why students are inclined towards learning foreign language whereas foreign partnership is the rare case why scholars learn other country language. Meanwhile, according to instructor in recent time travel is the least reason around 3% why students are learning non-native language.

Companies and careers seems to be the second common reason why students seems to be attracted towards learning other languages. But in contrast looking at the present trends this reason of learning seems to be decreasing.

Whereas, other common reasons like buying property overseas (19%), Personal interest(5%), social links(7%) and character development(7%) seems to be increasing in recent time where reason for buying foreign property covers highest proportion around 34% iand foreign partnership(3%) seems to be increasing in recent time too
