The pie charts below show responses by teachers of foreign languages in Britain to a survey concerning why their students are learning a foreign language. The first chart shows the main reason for learning a foreign language. The second chart shows how many teachers felt that there has been a recent change in the reason.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The given pie charts illustrates what are the reasons of students regarding learning a foreign language and responses are given by teachers of foreign languages in Britain.

The most common reason for learning foreign language are, the most common reason was for traveling which was 33%, the second most common reason was for business/work purpose which accounts 26%, the third common reason was buying property overseas which had 19 percentages, the fourth reasons has 2 reasons social contacts and personal development both of them had 7%, The fifth common reason is general interest which was 5% of pie chart, the last common reason was a foreign partner which was 3% and it was lowest common among all others.

Further more, increase in reasons overtime for learning foreign language, Travel is slightly increased by 3% whereas business/work and buying property overseas is drastically inclined to 19% and 34%, General Interst and foreign partner are grown by 1%, social contacts increased well to 15% whereas, personal development among all is the one which is declined to 4%.

overall, All of them [struck-through word] has made some changes over the time but personal development is the one who did not had any growth, Some of them inclined at very large portion and some were grown by slightly.
