Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the task only partially, as it attempts to describe the two charts but presents a limited and somewhat confused selection of details. While the writer notes the contrast in the travel category and mentions the highest figure for buying property overseas, the information is not fully developed or systematically presented. Furthermore, there is no clear overall overview provided to summarize the main trends depicted in the pie charts. The selection of data is somewhat haphazard, focusing on isolated figures rather than offering a clear comparative analysis of the data as a whole.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response shows some organization with a basic division into an introduction and a main body paragraph, but there is no clear overall progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used rather inadequately and repetitively, with sentences often chained together using simple connectors like 'and' or 'that shows that'. The referencing of ideas and data points lacks clarity, making it sometimes difficult to follow the logical relationship between the points being compared. Paragraphing is attempted, but the second paragraph becomes a dense block of mixed information without distinct logical stepping stones.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The lexical resource is limited but minimally adequate for describing basic data. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'contribution', 'involvement', and 'percentage', but there are noticeable errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'diffrence', 'demine' instead of 'diminish' or 'low', 'mojority', 'forign', and 'reacent'. These lexical errors and awkward collocations cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the response from achieving a higher level of precision and naturalness.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response demonstrates a limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on long, run-on sentences with frequent errors. Attempts at complex sentences are often faulty, featuring punctuation errors, missing articles, and awkward phrasing such as 'in percentage how many teachers reporting'. There are frequent errors in verb forms and tense consistency, as well as prepositional usage, which can cause difficulty for the reader in parsing the exact meaning of the sentences.
