Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You identify several key figures, including travel as the largest first-chart reason (33%), foreign partners as the smallest (3%), and buying property overseas as the largest reported recent increase (34%). However, the report does not give a clear overview comparing the charts, and it omits important information: business/work is 26% in the first chart and 19% in the second, while the second chart also includes 15% reporting no change. The phrase “Four percent personal development and four percent foreign partner is the reason for increase” also treats these as reasons for increase without clarifying the chart’s categories. The response is 148 words, below the 150-word minimum; the eight words copied from the prompt are not counted. Add a concise overview and cover the main comparisons accurately.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic two-part structure: the first paragraph describes the main reasons, and the second turns to recent increases. This helps the reader follow the chart sequence, and phrases such as “in the second part” signal a transition. However, the information is mostly presented as a list of percentages, with limited comparison between the charts and no distinct overview. Some links are awkward or unclear, such as “Seven percent development is occured” and “Thirty three percent travel and its the highest number.” Group related figures and use clearer transitions, for example, contrasting the leading reason in each chart. More deliberate paragraphing and linking would make the progression easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant chart vocabulary, including “highest,” “lowest,” “percentage,” and “recent increase,” so the reader can generally identify what you are describing. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive. “Seven percent development” is unclear, while “a third highest reason” and “highest number of percentage” are not natural ways to describe rankings. Spelling errors such as “foregin,” “Ninteen,” and “bussiness” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise reporting expressions such as “accounted for,” “represented,” and “the second-largest share,” and check spelling before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

Most of the response uses short, simple statements, and there is an attempt to combine information with “and.” However, grammatical errors occur frequently and sometimes make relationships between figures difficult to understand. Examples include “The piechart describes the responsed,” “Seven percent development is occured,” and “Thirty three percent travel and its the highest number.” These show problems with verb forms, sentence construction, and punctuation. Articles and plural forms are also inconsistent, as in “learning foreign language.” Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, such as “Travel was the most common reason, at 33%,” and use accurate past-tense reporting consistently.
