Student answer (Band 5.0)
While some pople believe jobs essential for life and have small interset in other activities, others argue that people more conscious about their hobbies rather than work. This essay will discuss both persceptives before giving my own opinion on the matter.
On the one hand, individuals work hard for the better life and improve their future rather than participate or interset anything else. This happends because people do not fullfill their basic needs and responsibility. Now, employees do not just work physically or working hours. Some work after the jobs through digitally like freelancing. After, so much struggle or hard work in life complete their family desires, that is reason they do not participate on other activities. For instance, my cousin is manager in company, whenever I meet them they was depressed due to family and company responsilbilites .I think companies and government create policies for the workers. Some extra leaves and some activities during working hours in jobs and arrange tours for their refreshment.
On the other hand, some people live their own life rather than work under the others. This happends because they want to enjoy their life they do not things about the others individuals. That kinds of people know about their own value and they said life is one enjoy them their own rule .For example: my cousin travel many places without any stress about thier life. They did not interest in jobs because through youtube. He earns lot of money through their videos. According to me, enjoy happy life do not think, so much about the life. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both attitudes by discussing people who prioritise work and those who favour leisure, and you include examples from your cousins. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the first example focuses on one manager’s pressures, while the second describes someone earning through YouTube, without clearly explaining how this represents a preference for hobbies over employment. Your own view is also difficult to identify. Phrases such as “According to me, enjoy happy life” do not establish a clear position on how work and leisure should be balanced, and the final sentence is incomplete. State your opinion directly and support each side with a clear reason and a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction and separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, and “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the contrast. However, progression within the paragraphs is often unclear: the first moves from basic needs to digital freelancing, family responsibilities, a personal example, and policy suggestions without showing how these points connect. Some references are also difficult to follow, as in “whenever I meet them they was depressed,” where the person being discussed is not consistently identified. The conclusion is not clearly separated, and the final phrase, “work and enjoy multiple ro,” breaks off. Use a clearer sequence of claim, explanation, and example, with linking phrases that show the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “basic needs,” “responsibilities,” “freelancing,” and “refreshment,” and you attempt to express ideas about work and leisure. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, such as “more conscious about their hobbies,” “participate on other activities,” and “enjoy their life their own rule.” Spelling errors, including “pople,” “interset,” and “persceptives,” are also noticeable and can distract the reader. Aim for more precise phrases and check spelling carefully. For example, describe people as “more enthusiastic about their hobbies” and say they “take part in other activities.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause beginning “This happens because,” but control is inconsistent and errors sometimes make the message difficult to follow. Examples include “people more conscious” (missing a verb), “they was depressed” (subject–verb agreement), and “they do not things about the others individuals” (incorrect verb construction). Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: the first paragraph’s example runs into “I think companies and government…” without a clear stop, while the final sentence is incomplete. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles, and punctuation before finishing.
