Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both attitudes: the work-focused view is linked to financial stability, promotion and experience, while the leisure-focused view is connected to family relationships and relief from stress. However, the response only partly fulfils the task because your own opinion is not clearly stated or maintained. “I will address both perspectives and my opinion” announces an opinion, but the conclusion merely summarises the two sides rather than saying which attitude you support or how you balance them. The examples are also under-developed: Bill Gates is mentioned, but the link between his career and the claim that work should dominate life needs clearer explanation, and the family example is hypothetical and vague. State your position directly and develop each example to show how it supports your reasoning.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph for each attitude, and a concluding summary. Signposts such as “On the other hand,” “Moreover,” and “To illustrate” help readers follow the shift between ideas. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or unclear. The opening “Whereas” creates an incomplete contrast, and the conclusion begins “Overall” but then uses “while” in a way that leaves the relationship between the two views awkward. Some ideas also run together, particularly “As a result, sustanaible career and advancement in his knowledge.for instance,” where the example is not smoothly connected to the preceding point. Use complete sentences, clearer links between claims and examples, and a conclusion that follows logically from your stated position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “financially stable,” “proficiency,” “dedicating,” “personal relation,” and “anxiety.” These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond basic vocabulary. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow: “contributing more time on profession,” “relief stress,” and “free fro stress” are examples. There are also spelling and word-form errors, such as “sustanaible,” “focuse,” and “each others.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. For example, use “spend more time on one’s career,” “relieve stress,” and “strong relationships” rather than translating phrases directly or relying on awkward combinations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex structures, including a reason clause with “because” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand the point. For example, “Whereas, rest of the people suggest” is not a complete, correctly formed contrast, while “Moreover it provide you proficiency” has subject–verb agreement problems. The sentence beginning “As a result” is also incomplete, and the Bill Gates example contains several clauses joined without clear sentence boundaries. Review sentence completeness, agreement, articles, and punctuation. Building accurate shorter sentences first, then combining them with controlled clauses, will make your argument clearer.
