Student answer (Band 4.5)
Some peoples prefer work as the most significant thing in life and have less interest in other things. While as comparatively to this some people thought that other hobbies and leisure interests than their jobs
Nowadays, Work is playing a vital roles in our life because If you dont have a job you never get money If you dont have the money how will you survive in your society not every one is same some people always fully focused on work rather than the other activites because they want to work hard and succeed in every area of life they point of view different they thought that money is everything and job is everything But in my opinion everyone knows what is good and what is bad for him or her but consistency is everything is every area of your live you do both things balance it correctly by doing job and also take your hobbies attach with you because some people things that hobbies and more valuable aur free time activites rather than the job but its not true life is all about hard work you have to manage it how to go ahead achieve goals how to relax your mind for example by playing sports or doing some exercies so you feel better and good because if you stick on a single line after sometime you will get stubborn and frustrated becasue you get tired by doing the same thing again and so give time to every area of your life never leave one thing for the other.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both attitudes in a general way: work is presented as a source of money and success, while hobbies and exercise are described as ways to relax. Your own view is that people should balance work and leisure, which is relevant to the question. However, the discussion is only partial because the two attitudes are not explored separately or supported with specific examples or evidence. The opening also restates the topic without establishing a clear, complete position, and the later claim that “money is everything” is not examined. Develop each side with a distinct reason and example, then state your balanced opinion clearly and explain why it is preferable.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a recognisable overall direction: the response moves from the importance of work to the value of leisure and then to a recommendation to balance both. However, ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the opening sentence is difficult to follow. The main body becomes one long sequence of claims linked by repeated “because,” “and,” and “so,” making relationships between points unclear. For example, the discussion shifts from money and success to hobbies, exercise, frustration, and goals without clear transitions. Organise the response into an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, and a conclusion. Use linking phrases selectively and make each paragraph develop one central idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary, including “vital,” “succeed,” “consistency,” “goals,” and “frustrated,” so the reader can identify the main topic and your general view. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes meaning harder to follow. Examples include “attach with you” for keeping hobbies in one’s life, “stick on a single line,” and “stubborn” where “stagnant” or “bored” may fit better. Spelling errors such as “activites,” “exercies,” and “becasue” also reduce accuracy. Build a wider set of natural phrases for employment, leisure, and work-life balance, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect ideas using subordinate clauses and conditional forms, as in “if you don’t have a job” and “because you get tired,” but these structures are often not controlled. Many sentences run together without full stops, and capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent. There are also frequent errors in agreement and sentence construction, such as “work is playing a vital roles,” “some people thought,” and “you do both things balance it correctly.” These problems make several parts difficult to read, even though the broad message can usually be understood. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them with accurate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries during proofreading.
