Student answer (Band 6.0)
It has been observed that some people show more interest in their work life.On the other hand, other their hobbies and leisure activities are more important than work.
The people who prefer their work/ job have specific atitude. In their perspective one should be more focud on job/work.Because work is a source of earning. The more focused you work, the more yoy earn. The more earning provides more facilities in life.It is true that a person's value is zero without money. When you have a good job and valuable work,You will be more respected. Some people think that despite of spending their time in drama of life stuck with your work and have a deciplined life. They are more practical and more serious towards life. They consider to spend time in hobbies and leisure activities is just a waste of time.
On contarary, there are other people who believe that hobbies and leisure activities are more important in life. They consider their job/work is a part of life.It is not the whole life or something that should be center of attention. They believe that hobbies and leisure activities make them happy and postive.Hobbies provide a better mental health. They need to relax their mind in some activities that are really relaxing for them. They do not consider themself like a machine. They want to live a happy life.
In point of view both people are right on their side. But balancing life is more important. A person should know how to divide and manage his time for both work and hobbies. For example, in my case i do work a full time job.I perform my duties with dedication. But when i return home after taking some rest i spend an hour in gardening. It creates positive energy in me. I feel so relaxed and happy there. My all exhaustion vanish quickly. So hobbies and work both are important and valuable .One should know how to balance both.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both attitudes and give a clear personal view: the first body paragraph explains why some prioritise work, the second describes the value of hobbies, and the conclusion argues for balance. Your gardening example also makes your opinion more personal and relevant. This meets the task well, though some reasoning is asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, “a person's value is zero without money” is a sweeping claim, and the link between earning more and having “more facilities” could be developed with a specific explanation. The discussion of work-focused people is somewhat fuller than the account of why people choose leisure. To strengthen the response further, explain the benefits and possible drawbacks of each attitude with more balanced, precise support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, and a conclusion that states your position. Transitions such as “On the contrary” and “For example” help readers follow the discussion, and the personal example fits naturally with your argument for balance. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. The opening phrase “On the other hand, other their hobbies…” is grammatically and logically awkward, while “In point of view” does not clearly introduce your conclusion. Several ideas are also joined in long sequences with full stops or commas used inconsistently. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each explanation explicitly to the paragraph’s main point; this would make progression smoother and referencing more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to discuss employment and leisure, including “source of earning,” “dedication,” “mental health,” and “balance.” Some choices show an attempt to express nuanced ideas, such as describing work as “a part of life” rather than its centre. However, spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word combinations are noticeable: “atitude,” “focud,” “deciplined,” “postive,” and “exhaustion vanish” reduce the polish of the writing. Repetition of “work,” “hobbies,” and “important” also limits flexibility. Aim to learn common collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, “earn more” is more natural than “more earning,” and “feel refreshed” is clearer than “exhaustion vanish.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including comparisons such as “The more focused you work, the more you earn” and clauses explaining why people value leisure. The main ideas remain understandable, but errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation occur often enough to make some sentences awkward. For example, “Because work is a source of earning” is a fragment, “other their hobbies” has an incomplete structure, and “A person should know how to divide and manage his time” shifts to a singular pronoun after general statements. Capitalisation and spacing after full stops are also inconsistent. Practise building complete sentences and checking subject–verb and pronoun agreement, while retaining your attempts at varied structures.
