Student answer (Band 5.0)
Many people regard work as most importand thing in life but other activities we perform in our free time have too much value. Every person has different hobbie. At earlier age, many people prefer to do work. In there leisure time, they execute their hobies like reading book to get more general knowledge. It depend on personal interests. In my opinion, no doubt work is importand but keen inerest in hobbies also importand
On one hand, work is importand in life. It compulsory to do. Some people perform work to get experience. For example, an electrican is interested in electric work after passage of time he mastered that skill. In this way, his interest will be generate in his work and he give little interest to any thing else. Other than this, if a person is interested in teaching, he must read different topic daily and get more information. After that he show little interest in any other activities.
On the other hand, some people are very enthusiastic about their hobbies and leisure interests than their jobs. To ilustrate, many teen age boys have too much interest in cricket. After playing cricket whole day they do not even get tired because they had a huge interest in it. They give more time to it and also give priority to cricket then job.
In conclusion, i would go with work as importand thing but little interest in hobbies is also importand. Other view is a little bit wrong they should prefer work along with work hobbies are also importand part.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both attitudes: the first body paragraph explains why people may focus on work, while the second gives the example of teenagers who prioritise cricket. Your conclusion also states a preference for work, so the main parts of the prompt are present. However, the discussion is limited and the position is not fully clear: the opening says hobbies are valuable, but the conclusion calls the opposing view “a little bit wrong” without explaining why. The examples are brief and do not show the wider consequences of either attitude. The response is 248 words, below the required 250; the 10 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop each example and explain your own balanced view more clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, and a conclusion. “On one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the contrast, and the examples generally appear beside the point they illustrate. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the opening moves from work to hobbies and then to age without a clear link, while the work paragraph shifts between electricians and teachers. Some connections are repetitive or imprecise, such as “Other than this” and “After that,” and the conclusion repeats the preference rather than drawing the discussion together. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to the argument it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough basic vocabulary to communicate the topic, including “experience,” “personal interests,” “enthusiastic,” and “priority.” There are also attempts to use topic-related expressions such as “leisure interests” and “general knowledge.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “importand,” “interest,” and “work.” Spelling errors such as “hobbie,” “electrican,” and “ilustrate,” along with awkward combinations such as “interest will be generate,” make the writing less precise and can slow the reader. Build a wider set of accurate collocations for discussing employment and leisure, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a conditional idea in “if a person is interested in teaching” and a time clause beginning “After playing cricket.” This shows some effort to vary sentence forms. However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns, sometimes making meaning difficult to follow. For example, “It compulsory to do” is missing a verb, “he give little interest” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, and “After that he show little interest” has the same problem. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “reading book” and “different topic.” Practise complete clauses, agreement, and articles, then proofread punctuation and sentence boundaries.
