Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 3.0

The response is significantly under the required 250-word minimum, containing only 78 words. Because the essay is incomplete, it fails to address the prompt fully. The introduction presents the topic and a position, but the body paragraphs are not developed, and the essay ends abruptly after only one sentence of the first body paragraph. Consequently, the task is not addressed in a meaningful way, and the arguments are not supported or extended as required by the task instructions. This results in a very low score for task achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The text shows an attempt at logical organization by using transition phrases like 'on the one hand' and 'while some argue'. However, because the essay is incomplete, there is no overall progression of ideas. Paragraphing is attempted, but the second paragraph is cut off immediately. Cohesive devices are used in a somewhat mechanical way, and the lack of content makes it impossible to evaluate the flow of arguments or the effectiveness of paragraphing beyond the initial structure.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary is limited and contains several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'profashionals' instead of 'professionals' and 'anyothers' instead of 'anything else'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to demonstrate the flexibility required for higher bands. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequent errors and the lack of a sufficient word count prevent the demonstration of a wider range of lexical items.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The writing contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with sentence structure, such as 'which is explain with valid points' (should be 'which will be explained') and 'both sides offers' (subject-verb agreement error). There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the punctuation is inconsistent. The errors are frequent and sometimes impede the clarity of the intended message, reflecting a limited control over basic grammatical rules.
