IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people regard work as the most important thing in life and have little interest in anything else. Other people are more enthusiastic about their hobbies and leisure interests than their jobs.
Discuss both these attitudes and give your own opinion.
You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, people have different views regarding the jobs. Some people put commitment what ever type of job they have. Others may find interest on their own hobbies and find happiness on enjoying their spare time.
On the one hand, those people who really love on improving themselves specially those people who are achievement oriented. They focus on working so hard for their success, improving the things that they love, working hard day and night to build a bright future .These may seem a sort of happiness for them specially when they come up achieving those things they tend to work on for a long period of time.
On the other hand ,some enjoy their quality time spending it with their love ones ,doing things which make them happy, like for example traveling to places they want to travel, visiting malls ,drinking, dancing having a quality time with the people to whom they love the most. Most of their spare time is devoted to the things that help them forget the pressure and anxiety that they encounter each day.
Moreover, the things that make us happy depends on our personality. There are people who love working and is particular in working things that will make him or her better in the future, some people enjoy the most of their time doing the things that they usually do and it is the reason why they are motivated to move and continue. Life offers humanity different paths its either for us to choose wisely.
