Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today world, few people give more importance to their work rather than on other their interest in different activity. Other individuals argue that more interested about their hobbies and free interests than their jobs. This essay discuss both views with detail explanation in forthcoming paragraphs. I believe that both points are valuable in life but when its balanced.
To begin with, some people are attached by their jobs and they do not focus on other things because sometime they dont have free time to perform anything else. Furthermore, in sedantaray lifestyle people have more pressure of work in their offices like complete their work on given time then rest of time they need to rest at home and spend time with their family. For instance, when people get married they have more responsebilities of their family to they want to consentrate more on the work rather than doing parties and spending time with friends. As a result, more focus on their job gives better opportunities and financially stable.
On the other hand, some people more focus on their hobbies like travelling, singing and spending free time with love ones rather than focus about their jobs because it gives more happiness and relaxation in their life. It feels more productive when they choose their field in their interest. For example, many cricket players are choose their hobbies thats why now they are represent our country. Due to this, people feels more productive.
In conclusion, people want to give pure attention to their work so they will more financially free. Althought, only focus on their hobbies cant generate money. I beleive that both things are equally manage when it give positive results,

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The essay addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation of why work-focused individuals struggle to find balance is a bit repetitive, and the example regarding cricket players is slightly underdeveloped in terms of how it relates to the broader concept of hobbies versus careers. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the implications of these attitudes rather than just listing them. The conclusion is also quite brief and lacks a strong summary of the main points discussed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'On the other hand' to signal transitions. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow between sentences is disjointed, such as in the second paragraph where the link between marriage and work focus feels abrupt. Additionally, some referencing is unclear, such as the use of 'it' in the final sentence, which makes the conclusion feel slightly disconnected from the preceding arguments.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is often repetitive and lacks precision. You use basic terms like 'work' and 'hobbies' frequently. There are also several spelling errors ('sedantaray', 'responsebilities', 'consentrate', 'Althought', 'beleive') and word choice issues, such as 'give more importance to their work rather than on other their interest'. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of variety and the frequency of errors in spelling and collocation prevent a higher score. You should aim to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to career-life balance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('people feels more productive'), incorrect preposition usage, and missing articles ('In today world'). Some sentences are poorly constructed, such as 'when its balanced' or 'they want to consentrate more on the work rather than doing parties'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable and affect the overall fluency of the writing. You need to focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy.
