IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people regard work as the most important thing in life and have little interest in anything else. Other people are more enthusiastic about their hobbies and leisure interests than their jobs.

Discuss both these attitudes and give your own opinion.

You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

There are different people with different intrest like some like to work and few likes to spend their time by doing the things which they like in their hobbies these people find peace in these activities.

First of all, the people who regards work as the most important thing in thier life are usually the kind of people who loves thier work they like doing it, they become sucessfull in their lifes by working hard, these people are usually richer than other but they had very weak relationships with thier faimly and their friends, because they spend most of their time working and as a result they lose their faimly and body health too. for example if a personworks day and night just to become sucesfull he might become a sucessfull person but there will be no one close to him and then he will lose his overall mental and physica; health because real happines came with close ones only.

On the other hand, there are those kind of people who likes to spend their time with the things they like the most forexample few people likes to read the books, few love gardening and few likes to enjoy the company of nature, they find peace while doing these activities, it also help to creat strong relationships with their close persons. for example if a person like to read books in lawn he can sit with his freinds or faimly to read books thier and he can spend quality time with them.

In conclusion, happines is different for everyone but the common type of happiness is that where you find the peace the most, this activity varies person to person some find peace in work some find in thier hobbies.
