Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this contemporary era, many people regard work as the most significant thing in the life and have little interest to something else.Others people are more passionate about their hobbies and the interest they have in a particular thing rather than their jobs. Both of the perspectives and my opinion will be elucidated along with pertinent examples in the following pargraphs.
Out of all the reasons why some people give more importance to the jobs, the predominant one to state is to get better financial stability. To explain this, it can be elaborated that many individuals main goal is to get the jobs that gives good range of salary, they want this because they believe that the money is the most precious thing in their life and if they focus more on jobs they will get finacial backup and it will be beneficial towards them in emergency situations like health, education, investment and so on.As a result, many people think that it is better to focus more on to get employed for money.
Nevertheless, others are more driven to their interest hobbies and so on because they love to do such things. To exemplify this perspective, it can be argued that many people wants to build their carrier based on their interest and hobbies because they believe that it is important to enjoy the particular work they are going to do, and by putting hardwork, consistency, dedication and right path they will achieve everything. Therefore, they will go towards their interest and hobbies.
To recapitulate after analysing all the aforementioned ideas it can be inferred that many people regard work as the most important in the life because to get finacial stability, while others are more passionate to the leisure intrests and hobbies because they belive they love to do that think.I believe that it is more vital for person to do work on the basis of his hobbies and interests.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both perspectives regarding work and leisure, and includes a clear position in the final paragraph. Ideas are relevant, exploring financial stability versus personal passion and career fulfillment. However, some arguments are slightly repetitive and under-developed, relying on circular explanations rather than deep elaboration or specific real-world examples. For instance, the discussion on financial stability simply restates that money is needed for emergencies without providing a concrete illustration. This places the performance firmly at Band 6.0, as all parts are addressed with relevant ideas, but further extension and concrete support are required for a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear progression from introduction to body paragraphs and a concluding summary. Paragraphing is utilised appropriately, separating the introduction, the two body viewpoints, and the final conclusion. However, cohesion is occasionally mechanical and repetitive, with formulaic transition phrases such as 'Out of all the reasons why...' and 'To exemplify this perspective, it can be argued that...'. Referencing is also occasionally imprecise, such as 'doing such things' and 'that think'. These shortcomings prevent the response from achieving Band 7.0, making Band 6.0 a fitting descriptor due to faulty or mechanical cohesive devices and referencing issues.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'contemporary era', 'financial stability', and 'predominant'. However, there are noticeable word choice errors, missing articles, and awkward collocations throughout the text, such as 'have little interest to something else', 'Others people', 'give more importance to the jobs', and 'leisure intrests'. Spelling errors like 'pargraphs', 'finacial', and 'belive' also occur. These errors do not impede communication overall, placing the lexical range securely at Band 5.5, characterized by an adequate yet inaccurate attempt at less common vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some capacity for subordination and relative clauses. However, grammatical accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in article usage ('in the life', 'the jobs', 'the money'), subject-verb agreement ('Others people are', 'many people wants'), and prepositional choices ('focus more on to get', 'passionate to'). Punctuation is generally acceptable, and the meaning remains clear despite the errors. Because simple structures are often error-free while complex structures contain frequent noticeable mistakes, the response meets the criteria for Band 5.5.
