Student answer (Band 5.0)
Everyone in human existence has different way of thinking and has different mindset, Doing something what you like and love is the best work to do among other works.
To commence with, Being enthusiastic about your hobbies and leisure interests than your jobs is best kind of work to find as their are several aspects to support this statement as if you love doing something particularly you like or gives you reason to be alive and bee happy, what else would you da to live everyday happy like if you are gifted with some natural talent in sports, drawing, gaming and you feel peace and positive while doing of it will make to feel alive everyday for example if a person is good at sports and he/she plays everyday and enjoys it while playing and gets opportunity to represents their country what could else be the reason to make their family and country proud. proud, it will eventually make him/her happy than doing a boring job.
Further more, Regarding work as the most important thing in life and have little interest in anything else, feels more like doing something in pressure you can be happy but there are consequences you can happy some time like while doing interested thing what is the meaning of life if you are not enjoying it until and unless you are in difficult situation but making work as most important aspect in life is a not a thing for example in recent study its been find out people making work more prioritise are less happy than others, and it was also in that study ancient people were more happier than us because they did not have to work every day, so being alive is important but being happily alive is most important
In recapitulation, Human should prioritise happiness more than work, if you are being happy while doing your hobbies you should level up more further in than field particularly and you will grow more than other as your are doing something with happines

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt regarding the two attitudes toward work and hobbies, and the student provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion that happiness should be prioritised. However, the development of ideas is limited by frequent digressions, run-on sentences, and repetitive phrasing. For instance, the paragraph discussing those who view work as most important relies heavily on vague generalisations, such as 'in recent study its been find out people making work more prioritise are less happy.' While a clear position is maintained throughout, the ideas would benefit significantly from more precise explanations and concrete support. Therefore, this performance aligns closely with the Band 6 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays an overall arrangement that attempts to follow a standard structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. The student relies on basic transitional phrases like 'To commence with' and 'Further more,' but sentences often run together without proper punctuation or logical links, creating severe run-on structures. For example, the second paragraph consists of a single, excessively long sentence that strings multiple clauses together ('...what else would you da to live everyday happy like if you are gifted...'). Paragraphing is also disrupted by placing distinct sub-points into massive blocks of text rather than managing them clearly, resulting in a Band 5 performance for this criterion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey basic concepts related to work, hobbies, and happiness. However, the range is limited, and there are noticeable errors in word choice, form, and collocation, such as 'bee happy,' 'what else would you da,' and 'more happier.' The student attempts some less common expressions like 'natural talent' and 'prioritise,' but these are often grammatically misused or imprecise. While communication is generally maintained despite these flaws, vocabulary constraints and frequent slips prevent the response from reaching a higher band, making Band 5 an appropriate evaluation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The essay demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, heavily relying on poorly controlled complex sentences that frequently break down. The text is plagued by major punctuation and sentence-boundary errors, particularly comma splices and run-on sentences, such as '...playing and gets opportunity to represents their country what could else be the reason to make their family and country proud. proud, it will eventually make him/her happy...' Errors in tense consistency, subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Human should prioritise'), and word formation are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader. These persistent inaccuracies place the grammar performance firmly within Band 4.
