IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people regard work as the most important thing in life and have little interest in anything else. Other people are more enthusiastic about their hobbies and leisure interests than their jobs.
Discuss both these attitudes and give your own opinion.
You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
some people believe that work is most significant part of our life. meanwhile others think that hobbies and other curricular activities are also essential in our life. in my perspective, both have some advantages.
On the one hand, the individuals spend most of the time in our jobs. they believe that the successful career can improve better job opportunities and good future to our families. For instance, A person who work hard to get a promotion and give a brilliant salary. In addition, people enjoy their professional and satisfied when they achieve their goals and succeed. therefore, they may not have much time to continue other social or physical activities.
On the other hand, most of the people doing hobbies and spend much time in these curricular activities. such as, reading playing games, sport activities and spend leisure time with friends and family. they can relax and reduce their stress after spending a long busy schedule. the individuals who plays football,reading books and talk to other person can feel more relaxed and energized. moreover, spending to much time on physical activities can make a person more relaxed and better effect on their job career and financial stability.
in my opinion, both are successful because a person can do work can stable financially strong and make a better life.
people can also make a good health and do some activities.
In my conclusion, most of the people focus on their career not to do other activities which is not good for health.
but i believe both are happy and good life.
