IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people regard work as the most important thing in life and have little interest in anything else. Other people are more enthusiastic about their hobbies and leisure interests than their jobs.

Discuss both these attitudes and give your own opinion.

You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is an ongoing debate amongst certain individuals that work is the most prominent

duty of life and it should be always be prefred and they do not take interest in recreational activities. While other are more involved in such activities as hobbies

and mind soothing things rather then their employements I consider that having break and following some physical and interestful activities can yield positive results but some results may not be in favor of humans

Some people denied to be involve themselfs in any particluar free time activity because they want to do extra work in order to earn more and to meet the need the expenses as participating in games or other things which demands time may not asisst them to achieve goals. for instance a teacher who wants to build a home as early as possible for his family needs do an extra job so if he waste his time in fullfiling his desires he may forget his way. However parents restrictions from early age can influence child behaviour for his whole life becuse of this several individuals may follow the same rules which was implemented by forefathers for instance child may be not be allow play which result in lose of interest

Some contened that passing some spare time can be productive for the well-being of a working person as it provides them an opportunity to relax mentally and physically, it aslo permit people to divert attentions from heavy burden of work. for insatnce my uncle has a specific time from whole day time which he devote to gym and watching movies which facilitates him to be productive. Moreover some may become prey to their intersts in order to feel enjoyable as work can be boring for them but other things may fascinates them. for instance my friend is found of playing football and he miss his office very often so he can play .

in conclusion having some obligations may not give permission to them to enjoy

any fascinating task and some may suphostiacted from childhood rules, in contrast it is considered as fruithful to remain touch with Amusements to avoid anxiety but some may become target of their activities
