Student answer (Band 5.0)
In our society two types of people exist one those who agree that work is nessasary in life then other interests. On the other hand some people disagree with this statement for them there is importance for hobbies and interests than their jobs . First i will analyze both the statements and then i will give my opinion about the hobbies and interests are also important part of our life.
First statement of people about who think that work and job is very important in life rather than hobbies and other interests in their free time.Work is very important part of our life because we are totally dependent on it as ecnomically as well as socially. Because in this moderen world if you havenot any job you cannot survive even one week. You cannot borrow things as the prices of evey thing is very high as of clothes, grocerray even food and thre are lot of problems for parents to pay feeces of their childerens, electricity bills. In our moderen era the need of internet is coomen we cannot live without it it has also bill, gas bill. We have to pay all these bills and feeces it is possible when you have good job.also if you have to pay rent then also a big problem so jobs are like oue body parts but we have also spend time in our interesting things in our free time.
On the other hand the second statement of some people about spend their more time on their hobbies and interests in thier free time is some how right but also wrong. As the work, job is important part of our life as well as hobbies and interests are also part of our life to refreshments. After doing lots of work we get tiredness and fatigue to getting more knowledge and expierences we should spend time in our hobbies.
To sum up my opinion is we should do these both things in balance because both are important part of our life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task partially, as required for this level. The writer touches upon both views regarding the importance of work versus hobbies, and provides a personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the arguments regarding why people prioritize work focus heavily on repetitive lists of daily expenses, such as clothing, groceries, electricity bills, and internet costs, without extending these points into deeper discussions on career ambition, personal identity, or lifestyle choices. Similarly, the discussion on hobbies briefly mentions refreshment, tiredness, and fatigue, but lacks fully supported examples or detailed exploration. Consequently, while all parts of the prompt are acknowledged, the lack of well-developed support and a clear, sustained position throughout keeps the task response limited.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays some organization, but lacks a clear overall progression. The response is divided into basic paragraphs, including an introduction, body paragraphs addressing each perspective, and a brief conclusion. However, the logical flow between sentences is frequently disrupted. Cohesive devices are often inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, such as the frequent reliance on transitional phrases like 'First statement of people about who think' and 'On the other hand the second statement of some people'. Furthermore, referencing is not always clear, and the internal structure of paragraphs tends to list ideas sequentially rather than building a cohesive argument. While paragraphing is attempted, the overall progression stalls due to weak transitional links and repetitive phrasing.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The lexical resource is limited and minimally adequate for communicating basic ideas. The student attempts to use some task-related vocabulary, but noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling cause some difficulty for the reader. There are numerous spelling errors throughout the text, including 'nessasary', 'ecnomically', 'moderen', 'havenot', 'grocerray', 'thre', 'feeces', 'childerens', 'coomen', 'oue', 'thier', and 'expierences'. Additionally, word choices are frequently imprecise or awkward, such as using 'feeces' instead of fees or bills, and 'interesting things' instead of leisure activities or hobbies. These lexical limitations restrict the response to a basic range of vocabulary and cause frequent interference with communication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer uses a limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and basic coordination. When attempts are made at complex sentences, they are often faulty, featuring frequent errors in clause structure, article usage, prepositions, and subject-verb agreement. Examples of grammatical errors include 'one those who agree', 'if you havenot any job', 'as the prices of evey thing is very high', 'it is possible when you have good job', and 'we get tiredness and fatigue to getting more knowledge'. Punctuation control is also weak, with run-on sentences and missing boundary markers. These frequent errors occur across simple and complex forms alike and can cause difficulty for the reader in parsing the intended meaning.
