Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both attitudes by discussing people who prioritise work and those who value hobbies, and you include an opinion that both matter. Examples about parents supporting their children’s education and students developing skills through hobbies are relevant to the topic. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening says both are valuable, while the second body paragraph calls the hobby-focused view “better,” and the conclusion returns to both being important. The ideas are also limited and under-developed; for instance, you mention a “better future career” but do not explain how prioritising work leads to it or consider possible costs. State a consistent view and develop each main point with a clear explanation and specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “secondly,” and a concluding paragraph, so there is some recognisable organisation. The two body paragraphs also broadly correspond to the two attitudes in the question. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined without clear relationships, as in “they can helped their study also save money their future.” Linking words are limited and sometimes mechanical, while references such as “they” and “that idea” do not always make clear who or what is meant. The conclusion repeats the two positions rather than drawing the argument together. Use one main point per paragraph, connect each explanation explicitly to that point, and make pronoun references precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “skills,” “career,” “education,” “hobbies,” and “experience,” which helps identify the subject of the essay. However, the range is limited and many words or phrases are repeated, particularly “interest,” “future,” and “hobbies.” Several choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “precious citizens lives,” “works hobbies,” and “progress their hobbies,” which can make the intended meaning difficult to understand. There are also spelling and word-form problems, including “chuldren,” “peogres,” and “leidure.” Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing work-life priorities, and check spelling and collocations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including examples introduced with “For example,” but control of sentence structure is weak. Many sentences contain frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries: “They can giving more opportunities” and “many people are provide good education” are difficult to process, while “if any people works a lot number of they should better future career” lacks a clear grammatical structure. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, with run-on sentences and missing spaces after commas. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses using “because,” “when,” or “if.” Proofread each sentence for a complete clause and consistent verb tense.
