Student answer (Band 5.0)

Their are two types of people in this world the first is chse their dreams hobbies and interest and another is reduce interest in their own hobbeis because of many reasons . In my way both have own mindset and own decision to how the decide their jobs or skills to making money and job sector.

The first person is follows their passion or interest for their job because he do everything for this and build own hobbies as a profession .For example My friend abdul has a interest in coding and he practicing daily and now he become an engineer now . because he did left their interest because of anything he follows their own interest and build as a proffession.

The second person is trying to follow their interest and hobbie but he could to make this and day by day when his needs is completely change the he shifted to another passion because he could perform well in their interest actually i have my own story to represent as this situation . so actually i have interest in making money from trading but as my condition i have no any funding source so i decided to get job first then i started learning coding from youtube and other resources but during this i reduce my interest in trading and gain in coding .

The conclusion of this whole passage is their no worng mindset from both of chossing the passion or not these both mindset are correct but sometimes some people can perform better in their hobby but some can not but it does not they are who is not perform well in their hobby they are doing another thing where they are master of their skill.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both attitudes through the examples of your friend who made coding a profession and your own decision to prioritise employment and coding over trading. These personal examples are relevant, and the conclusion recognises that people may make different choices. However, the task asks you to compare people who prioritise work with those who prioritise hobbies and leisure. Your response focuses mainly on pursuing an interest as a career or changing interests because of financial circumstances, so the second attitude—valuing leisure outside work—is not clearly explained. Your own opinion is also difficult to identify: the conclusion says both choices are correct but does not explain which attitude you favour or why. Develop both sides directly and state a clear position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs also have identifiable purposes: the first gives your friend’s example, while the second presents your own experience. However, progression between the task’s two attitudes is not always clear, because the paragraphs discuss career choices and changing interests rather than clearly contrasting work with leisure. Linking phrases such as “The first person” and “The second person” are repetitive, and connections within sentences are sometimes difficult to follow. For example, the second body paragraph moves from trading to financial circumstances, employment and coding without clearly showing how these points support the comparison. Use topic sentences that directly identify each attitude and connect examples to the main argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “passion,” “profession,” “funding source” and “perform well,” and the personal examples help make your meaning partly clear. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “interest,” “hobby” and “passion.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “hobbeis,” “proffession” and “reduce interest,” which can make the reader pause or infer your meaning. Some expressions are not natural in context, including “in my way” and “my needs is completely change.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and use more precise terms to distinguish employment, career ambitions and leisure activities. Proofreading spelling would also improve clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example when explaining why you moved from trading towards employment and coding. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and complex attempts often contain errors that make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Examples include “Their are two types of people,” “he do everything,” and “when his needs is completely change.” Subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries need consistent attention. Several sentences also run together or begin with a lowercase “because,” which weakens punctuation and readability. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using clauses such as “because” and “although.” Check each sentence for a clear subject, correctly formed verb and appropriate punctuation.
