Student answer (Band 5.0)
Most of the people today consider work as the most essential thing in their life and have other things aside while others are more concerned about their hobbies and leisure interest tha their jobs. Overall, there are arguements between the people about their work life and their hobbies but I probably thinkboth work and hobbies are equally important in every persons life.
Every citizen work to earn and have quality life. Eventhough all of the people have different hobbies and interest in their life but to work is the hardest and effective part of a humans life. Some people work for their family while some works taking work as a part of their hobbies which help them fulfill their happiness after doing the thing they want ant will to do.
To have a hobby of doing anything in the leisure time is a very good thing to do as a human. Some people are more enthusiastic about their hobbies and leisure interest than their jobs which will make them happy and satisfied about what they are doing. There are people with different hobbies like dancing, music, reading writing, art and crafts and so on. An individual who consider their hobbies more impotant than a job can be a person with no limitations of money.
In my opinon, work and own hobbies are equally important for me as I also work as a barista since a long time, it has pushed me to work and help my parents financially as well, while on the other hand, I love to dance as well which has been my hobby since my childhood. Dance makes me happy. For me, both my work and my hobby encourages to give continuity in it.
People arguing about this particular things is not a thing to do from point of view.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view that work and hobbies are equally important, and your personal example as a barista who enjoys dancing helps make this position relevant. You also refer to both attitudes in the question. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the reasons people prioritise work are stated generally, while the claim that someone who values hobbies more may have “no limitations of money” is unclear and unsupported. The final sentence about arguing does not explain either attitude or strengthen your opinion. To improve, explain the benefits and drawbacks of each outlook with specific reasoning or examples, and maintain a clear, relevant position throughout. The response meets the stated length requirement; 9 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs about work and hobbies, a personal-opinion paragraph, and a conclusion-like final sentence. This gives the reader some organisation. However, progression between ideas is not always clear, and several links are mechanical or confusing. For example, “Overall, there are arguements between the people” does not clearly introduce the essay’s position, while “while on the other hand” repeats the contrast already expressed in the sentence. The final sentence feels disconnected from the preceding personal example. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, connect examples directly to that point, and make the conclusion restate your view rather than introduce an unrelated comment.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “work,” “hobbies,” “leisure,” “enthusiastic,” and “financially.” The personal example also gives you a chance to use relevant language about employment and interests. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts less clear, such as “arguements,” “tha,” “impotant,” and “interest” where the plural is needed. Phrases such as “have other things aside” and “give continuity in it” are not natural ways to express your meaning. Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling and plural forms. For instance, you could describe work as a “source of income” and hobbies as a “way to relax or pursue personal interests.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a contrast with “while” and a concessive opening with “Even though.” These attempts show some range, but complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “Every citizen work,” “some works,” and “an individual who consider,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. The sentence beginning “Some people work for their family while some works…” also shifts awkwardly between singular and plural subjects. There are problems with articles and sentence construction in “to work is the hardest and effective part of a humans life.” Practise building accurate sentences around one clear subject, and check agreement, articles, and punctuation before adding clauses.
