Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few people suppose that work is the most valuable thing in our life and we should less focus on our hobbies. Whereas, other argued that people should show more interest towards their hobbies instread of their jobs. Which i completly agree with second statement. In this essay I will explain both the views with some relevent examples.
On the one hand, If people give more importance towards their jobs then will loss their interests. In other words, if a person who loves to play guitar as an hobbies in which he found more energetic and confident feeling but due to his job he was unable to practice it. he will loss all its skills due to more reliable on his job. For example, there was a famous swimmer his lost all his skill due to lack of practice beacuse he was admitted in hospital for a complete year.
On the other hand, If a person have a hobbie then he can able to do that task for entire life also you can found your self as a successful person. For example, I saw an interview of a famous cricketer M.S Dhoni. In which he said when he comes from lower family background due to which he did lots of struggle in his teenage time. He said if he continue his job instead of follow his hobbies then today will not be a famous cricketer.
In conclusion, A job can offer you a good wealth if you continues it but if you have any passion and you work hard for it then it not just give your wealth but it will make your more motivate to follows it further.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both attitudes and make your preference clear by stating, “Which I completely agree with second statement.” The examples about a guitarist and M.S. Dhoni are relevant to the idea that hobbies can bring fulfilment and success. However, the discussion is only partial: the work-focused view is presented mainly as a risk to hobbies, rather than explaining why some people consider work central, such as financial security, achievement, or responsibility. The hobby-focused argument also relies on a brief personal account and does not fully explain how pursuing a hobby can be sustained or lead to success. Develop both sides more evenly, explain the reasoning behind each, and make your own position explicit in a complete introductory sentence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted with “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the two perspectives. Some links and references, however, are unclear or mechanical. For example, “In which he said” is a sentence fragment, and “he will loss all its skills” leaves the person being discussed unclear. The first body paragraph also moves from a hypothetical guitarist to an unnamed swimmer without explaining how the example supports the point. Use clearer references, connect examples directly to the argument, and make each paragraph progress through a claim, explanation, and supporting detail.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “hobbies,” “jobs,” “passion,” “practice,” and “successful,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the response awkward, such as “show more interest towards,” “more reliable on his job,” and “give your wealth.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “instread,” “completly,” and “relevent,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise phrases and check spelling carefully. For instance, describe someone as “relying heavily on their job” or say that a pursuit “can provide financial rewards,” rather than translating these ideas literally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences using conditional and subordinate structures, such as “if a person who loves to play guitar … but due to his job he was unable to practice it.” However, these attempts are often faulty, and many sentences contain errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, or sentence construction. Examples include “then will loss their interests,” “If a person have a hobbie,” and “if you continues it.” The sentence beginning “In which he said” is also incomplete, while inconsistent capitalisation and punctuation make the writing less controlled. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “although,” and “if.” Check that every sentence has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
