Student answer (Band 4.5)

There are a few, individuals those believe that their work like job or business are very significant as compared to other activities. While, mostly people are very loyal with their local activities and they do not take too much interest in their source of income such as jobs.

Firstly, in this world has a lot of humans but in this era money is very crucial thing for all humans because without money people do not able to live a happy life so, a huge number of individuals are prefer to do work on daily bases. However, as a human being people has some responsibilities like bear the expenses of his family moreover, this thing is do not possible without any task. Those people are very good in duties then they do not prefer to waste their important time in useless hobbies. For instance, in China, according to the report of governement, like mostly citizens are very hardworking then they are able to live happily.

Today, the ratio of free people are very high in every country just because of lazziness and sleep also, these types of residents do not take their duties seriously. Similarly, in the current time a large number of people prefer to spend a quality time with their family, friends or relatives but unfortunately, these things will be more dangerous for their life. For example, nowadays, the government of UK start a program in which they provide a lot of jobs for their citizens.

In my opinion, those people are prefer to do work or taks on daily life these types of humans are very advantageous for our youth or society. On the other hand, individuals need to focus on their career first then they need to spend some time on their hobbies like cricket or football.

In conclusion, the government of each country has some responsibilities like produce few jobs or labor work for their local residents then the life of every normal humans will be very easy or simple. Futhermore, people has also some responsibilities then the youngsters will be able to live a happy live with their families.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You attempt to discuss both attitudes: the first body paragraph presents work as necessary for income and family responsibilities, while the next describes people who prioritise family and social time. Your final paragraph also gives a preference for work, with some time reserved for hobbies. However, the discussion only partially answers the question. The second attitude is portrayed mainly as laziness and as “more dangerous,” rather than explaining why people may value leisure or how it benefits them. The examples about China and a UK jobs programme are asserted but not clearly connected to the claims. Develop both viewpoints fairly, then state and support a consistent opinion with relevant examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an identifiable introduction, two body paragraphs, an opinion paragraph and a conclusion, so the reader can recognise an overall structure. Some linking expressions, including “Firstly,” “However,” “Similarly” and “In conclusion,” show an attempt to connect ideas. Nevertheless, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the discussion moves from money to family duties and then to a broad claim about happiness without explaining the links. The second body paragraph also shifts from leisure to unemployment and a government jobs programme. Several transitions, such as “While” at the start of the introduction and “Moreover,” do not create clear relationships. Organise each paragraph around one viewpoint and use references and connectors to make the reasoning explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “responsibilities,” “expenses,” “hobbies,” “career” and “society,” and you attempt some less common expressions such as “source of income.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning awkward or imprecise. For example, “local activities” does not clearly express leisure interests, “free people” seems to mean unemployed people, and “do work on daily bases” is not a natural phrase. Spelling errors such as “governement,” “lazziness” and “Futhermore” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise vocabulary for work and leisure, and check spelling and collocations so your ideas are easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “while” and “in which.” However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make the relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “There are a few, individuals those believe,” “people do not able to live,” and “a large number of people prefer” followed by inconsistent sentence structure. Subject–verb agreement is often inaccurate, as in “people has” and “these types of residents do not take” after a singular construction. Articles, verb forms and sentence boundaries also need attention. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses; check that each subject matches its verb and that each sentence expresses a complete, clear idea.
