Student answer (Band 5.0)

Most of the people regard work they belevie that is most important part in life and low interest in other activities while other people pay more attention to their hobbies and leisure interests rather than their job.

As my opinion, those people are more loyal to there work beacuse of they achieve their set goals, which helps to get therapy so they put full energy into it to get a senior role in the organization because they set the boundaries. for example someone works as an assistant manager in an organization. He work hard and achieves becoming a manager helps to grow the organization. In the other word devoting more time in companies progress ultimately grow faster and achieve set goal.

Therefore the other people who are interested in hobbies, as there own choices they set the boundries set of goals. Hobbies to open new venture in their lives; for example, some people have a hobby of writing articles on current affairs and devote more time to writing a suitable article while not being serious in work as a result, they serve the same company in the same position

In conclusion, some people regard their work because they put full energy in work so they have no enough time to pay attention to their hobbies. While on the other hand spending more time in hobbies also pays more value in there life. So success not

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify both attitudes in the introduction and include examples, such as an assistant manager seeking promotion and a person who writes articles as a hobby. However, the discussion is only partial: the reasons for prioritising work are not clearly explained, and the hobby example does not fully show why leisure might matter more than career. Your own opinion is also difficult to identify; “As my opinion” introduces a point about work, but the conclusion does not clearly state which attitude you support. The final sentence, “So success not,” is unfinished. The response is 15 words below the required minimum, which further limits the development of your ideas. Explain both perspectives more fully and state a clear, consistent view.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and it attempts to move from one attitude to the other. Examples are placed near the relevant points, which gives the reader some guidance. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the work paragraph moves from loyalty to goals, therapy, promotion and company growth without showing how these ideas connect. Linking phrases such as “Therefore,” “In the other word” and “While on the other hand” are sometimes inaccurate or do not establish a clear relationship. The conclusion repeats earlier points but ends abruptly. Use a clearer topic sentence for each paragraph, develop one main idea at a time, and connect examples explicitly to your argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “hobbies,” “leisure interests,” “set goals,” “senior role” and “organization,” so the topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear. For example, “get therapy” does not fit the intended point about work, while “set the boundaries set of goals” is difficult to interpret. “Companies progress” and “pays more value” are also unnatural expressions. Spelling errors such as “belevie,” “beacuse,” “there” for “their,” and “boundries” are noticeable. Build a more precise vocabulary for motivation, career advancement and personal fulfilment, and check spelling and common word partnerships.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including examples introduced with “for example” and clauses linked by “while” and “because.” However, the range is limited, and errors are frequent enough to make several sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “Most of the people regard work they belevie that is most important part in life,” “He work hard,” and “they have no enough time.” These show problems with sentence boundaries, verb agreement, articles and quantifiers. The conclusion’s “So success not” is incomplete, and punctuation does not consistently separate ideas. Practise writing complete sentences with one clear main clause, then add subordinate clauses carefully; review subject–verb agreement, articles and sentence punctuation.
