Student answer (Band 5.5)

Some people consider that work is the main important thing in the life and pay less attention to other things, while others participate very actively in leisure activities and their hobbies as compared with the job they do. I belive that having more enthusiastic about other fields help people reduce stress. This eassy will discuss both the views and my opinion.

On the one hand, people give main prority to work because having more contration on particular work improves their productivity which helps to achive success in short time.

When focusing on multiple works at an same time gives unnecceary stress and burden to them to complete all tasks simuntaneously. So, by having single goal reducess the stress on the individuals and they get more time to explore the work and gain much information. researchers, For example, while doing reasearch on the product they complete dedecate thier time on the particular work till it success, that dedecation helps to focus more on the work. Hence, considering work as the most important thing life give opprtunities to explore and enchance their work.

On the other hand, People are more intersted about their hobbies and free time activites because it helps to improve health and creativity. If individuals may attention to work they may feel exhausted because of the problems and deadlines of the task, it leads to mental and physical problems. However, being more enthusiatic about other things give time to relax, when individuals are less stressed they be very health and active throughout day, which helps to enhance their performance and though process. due to this, they be more innovative in their life.

In conclusion, although both has its own advantages, I belive that interst in other things than their job offers many benefits which helps them to be very health and more creative in their life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both attitudes and state a clear preference for hobbies and leisure, explaining that they can reduce stress and support health and creativity. The work-focused paragraph also gives a relevant reason: concentration may improve productivity and help people achieve success. These points keep the response on task. However, some ideas are more fully explained than others. The claim that focusing on one goal reduces stress is not clearly connected to why work should be the most important part of life, and the research example is difficult to follow. The leisure argument is more persuasive, but would benefit from a specific example showing how a hobby improves wellbeing or work performance. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation and evidence.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, and a conclusion that restates your view. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion. Within paragraphs, however, some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “So, by having single goal” does not clearly show how the preceding point leads to the next, and “due to this” has an uncertain reference. The research example also interrupts the flow, particularly where “researchers, For example” appears. Use linking phrases only when the relationship is clear, and make each paragraph progress from a main claim to explanation and then a relevant example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “productivity,” “deadlines,” “exhausted,” “innovative,” and “creativity.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, but the range and control are limited by repeated or imprecise expressions such as “other things,” “work,” and “very health.” Several spelling errors—such as “belive,” “prority,” “simuntaneously,” and “dedecation”—are noticeable and can distract the reader. Some combinations are also unnatural, including “main important thing” and “pay less attention to other things.” Build a more precise vocabulary for work-life balance and check spelling carefully; using accurate collocations will make your argument clearer and more natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If individuals may attention to work…” and clauses explaining consequences. This shows an effort to vary sentence forms, but some complex constructions are faulty, and errors sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. For example, “having more enthusiastic about other fields help people” has an incorrect verb pattern and agreement, while “when individuals are less stressed they be very health” is missing an appropriate verb form. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “at an same time” and the lower-case sentence beginning “due to this.” Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them, checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and complete verb phrases.
