Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the life of some individual, the most significant thing they conern about is their work or job rather tan other things, although some people are really passionate about their hobbies and have a keen interest in their free time to do somthing new rather than their daily routine.i am convinced that people should take some time from their daily life routine for their hobbies mainly because it helps tehm to stay fresh and unwind from their hectic routine.
A growing number of individuals are only focused on their job since they think work plays a crucial role in their life ,moreover which is simthing that really support them to live life peacfully is work or their job and they gave a full hold of their time and life to their job and have no feeling about their interest of thing they really want to do when they are not starting job.
However, other group of people who are greatly enjoy their hobbies even though these activites are not the part of their job and never benefit them in terms of money besides they got a mental peace and moral satisfaction while spending their vacations with their interest.
From my perspective, people should have to take some time from their hectic and busy routine it help them to unwind their mind and explore somthing different from their daily activites.
To sum up, Both groups have their own priorities since ,it is my firm belief that hobbies are the thing people really enjoy and get rid from their stress and unwind your ability.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both attitudes: the second body paragraph describes people who prioritise work, while the next discusses those who enjoy hobbies, and your own view—that leisure helps people unwind—is stated in the introduction and conclusion. However, the discussion is only partial and the position is not consistently developed. The work-focused view is mostly asserted, for example, that work “plays a crucial role” and supports people’s lives, without explaining why someone might value work above other interests. The benefits of hobbies are also repeated rather than supported with a specific example or fuller reasoning. Develop each attitude with a clear reason and an illustrative example, then explain why your own preference is more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, your opinion, and a conclusion. “However” signals a contrast between the groups, and “From my perspective” makes your view easy to identify. Nevertheless, progression within paragraphs is often unclear because several ideas are joined into long, loosely connected sentences. For instance, the work paragraph moves from work’s importance to financial support and then to having no interest in other activities without clear links. The conclusion also repeats the point about stress rather than drawing the discussion together. Use one main idea per sentence, connect reasons to examples explicitly, and make references such as “these activities” and “their interest” more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “crucial role,” “passionate,” “mental peace,” and “moral satisfaction,” and these choices help convey the contrast between work and leisure. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “have a full hold of their time and life to their job,” “interest of thing,” and “unwind your ability.” Spelling errors such as “conern,” “somthing,” and “peacfully” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, describe people as “devoting most of their time to work” and say hobbies help them “relieve stress” or “recharge.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast in the opening sentence and clauses introduced by “since” and “even though.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, verb forms, and punctuation can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “other group of people who are greatly enjoy their hobbies” has an incorrect clause structure, while “it help them” lacks subject–verb agreement. The opening also runs into “routine.i am,” with missing sentence punctuation and capitalisation. Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them accurately; check articles, verb agreement, and punctuation during proofreading.
