THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE WHO OPINE THAT JOB IS THE ONLY ESSENTIAL THINGS IN LIFE , THE REST ACTIVITIES ARE VALUESLESS.THERE ARE ANOTHER PORTION OF THE PEOPLE WHO STATES THAT THERE ARE MORE PRIORITISED ACTIVITIES RATHER THAN WORK , SUCH AS PASSING A LEISURE AND GAIN HAPPINESS FROM HOBBIES.I BELIEVE THAT BESIDES WORK WE SHOULD BE ZEAL FOR OUR HOBBIES AND LEISURE , WE SHOULD BALANCE BETWEEN WORK TIME AND LEISURE TIME.

ONE THE ONE HAND, A PORTION OF INDIVIDUALS THINK THAT THE LIFE OF A MAN IS TOUGH NOW, WE SHOULD FOCUS ON ERNING MONEY AND WEALTH , SO , AS A WORKAHOLICS LIFE , WE HAVE TO WORK THE WHOLE LIFE , SO THAT OUR FAMILY CAN GET A HAPPY LIFE INSTEAD OF OUR INDUSTRY IN WORKPLACE . Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You introduce both attitudes and state a relevant personal view: “we should balance between work time and leisure time.” However, the response addresses the task only minimally. It develops only the work-focused position, arguing that people need to earn money for their families, and does not explain the opposing attitude that hobbies and leisure may be more important than work. Your own opinion is stated but not supported with reasons or an example. The response also contains 144 words, below the required 250, so there is not enough development to cover all parts of the question. To improve, explain both viewpoints, give a clear reason and example for each, and develop your balanced conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the topic and your opinion, while “ONE THE ONE HAND” signals a body paragraph about work. Some linking expressions, including “so” and “instead of,” show an effort to connect ideas. However, the response ends without a paragraph discussing the other attitude or a conclusion, so there is no clear overall progression. Repeated use of “so” also makes the connections feel mechanical, and the long opening sentence combines several points without clear separation. Use distinct paragraphs for the introduction, each viewpoint, and the conclusion; then connect ideas with more precise references and transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary such as “workaholics,” “wealth,” “hobbies,” and “leisure,” and the reader can generally identify the subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make parts difficult to understand. For example, “valuesless” does not express the intended idea clearly, “passing a leisure” is not a natural phrase, and “un useful staffs” is unsuitable in this context. Some phrases, such as “a happy life instead of our industry in workplace,” obscure your meaning. Build a more reliable set of collocations for work and free time, and check spelling and word forms. Prefer clear, accurate expressions over ambitious wording you are unsure how to use.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to express connected ideas using longer sentences and clauses, for example, the sentence beginning “we should focus on erning money and wealth.” This shows an effort to go beyond short, simple statements. However, the range remains limited, and frequent errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation make the meaning difficult to follow in places. In “there are another portion of the people who states,” the subject and verb do not agree, while “the only essential things” has a singular–plural mismatch. Commas and spaces around punctuation are also inconsistent, and several clauses run together. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled connectors such as “because” and “although.”
