Student answer (Band 4.5)
Some individuals believe job as the most essential thing in life and less worry about other things while other people believe and passionate about their hobbies and free time rather than their jobs. I believe thinking about job is more important than anyother activity.
People are more inclined toward their hobbies and leisure interests because they believe by doing those activity, that they want to do in their free time and make themself feel happy is more curical than working. When they perform those activity in their life it gives them a fall stratification because they know that doing job is way more difficult and they are afraid of lossing. So they never try to come out from their comfort zone. A good example of this, individual who just stay at his or her home without any work. But just to justify his or her failures they starting to enthusiastic

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You introduce both attitudes and state a clear preference: “I believe thinking about job is more important.” However, the response addresses the task only minimally. The discussion of people who prioritise leisure is brief, and the explanation that they “never try to come out from their comfort zone” is not fully clarified or supported. The work-focused attitude and your own reasons for preferring it are not developed, and the example about someone staying at home is unfinished. The response also falls 100 words short of the required minimum, leaving too little space to discuss both views and support your opinion. Develop each side in a separate paragraph, then explain your position with a complete, relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening paragraph presents the two attitudes and your opinion, followed by a paragraph about people who prefer hobbies. The contrast signalled by “while” helps introduce the topic. However, the ideas do not progress into a complete discussion: the second paragraph ends abruptly at “they starting to enthusiastic,” and there is no concluding paragraph. Connections between claims are also unclear, particularly between enjoying leisure, finding work difficult, and avoiding a comfort zone. Use a clear structure—introduction, one paragraph for each attitude, and a conclusion—and connect each reason to the next with explicit, accurate linking phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “hobbies,” “leisure interests,” “free time,” and “comfort zone,” so the reader can identify the subject of the response. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make ideas difficult to understand. For example, “fall stratification” does not communicate a clear meaning, and “more passionate about” is needed rather than “believe and passionate about.” There are also spelling and word-form problems such as “curical,” “lossing,” and “anyother.” Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling; for instance, explain that leisure activities provide “personal fulfilment” or “enjoyment,” rather than using an unclear phrase.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts some longer sentence structures, such as the opening contrast between people who prioritise work and those who prefer leisure. However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence formation and verb forms frequently make the meaning difficult to follow. In “other people believe and passionate,” the verb structure is incomplete; “doing those activity … make themself feel happy” has problems with agreement and plural forms; and “they starting to enthusiastic” is not a complete grammatical clause. The example beginning “A good example of this, individual…” is also a fragment. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and verb forms before adding more complex clauses.
