Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is often argued that while few individuals think that work has significant role than the interest in other personal works or hobbies, while others claim that some people show more interest in their hobbies and spend less time in their jobs. Although both views have valid arguments, i firmly believe that the people must balance the work and their hobbies. However, in recent days hobbies are more important than the work to reduce stress.
On the one hand, if the people shows more interest in employment they get offers like hike and better position but it leads to physical and mental health problems. Their main focus is to complete the task and it takes more time. In other words they spend less time with their loved ones and friends. pupils have to balance both employment and the interest in other works. For example, a person who works hard to become a doctor may feel proud of helping patients while providing financial stability for their family. Therefore, finincial security and professional achievement and responsibility are important.
On the other hand, public has less interest in work and more in their hobbies. If they doesn't concentrate on work it leads to less salary. However, leisure activities improve well-being and create a healthier life. Spending time with family, listening to music, reading or playing sports can reduce stress. These activities also allow people to develop interests outside their careers. For instance, an empolyee who spends weekends playing sports or meeting friends may return to work feeling refreshed and motivated.
In conclusion, work is important but hobbies and family time are equally necessary for a balanced life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You discuss both attitudes: the first body paragraph considers the benefits and costs of prioritising employment, while the second explains how leisure can reduce stress and support well-being. Your view that people should balance work and hobbies is stated in the introduction and reinforced in the conclusion. The examples about a doctor and an employee playing sports help make the discussion relevant. However, the first attitude is not always clearly distinguished from the opposing view, and the claim that hobbies are “more important than the work” is not fully reconciled with your balanced position. Some points, such as financial security and professional responsibility, are listed rather than explained. Clarify your position and develop each main reason with a fuller explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, and a concise conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow. Within paragraphs, however, some connections are abrupt: the point about pupils balancing employment and other interests appears without a clear link to the preceding discussion, and the final sentence of the first body paragraph combines several ideas. The repeated use of “However” also makes some transitions feel mechanical. Improve cohesion by grouping related points together and using clearer references to show how each example supports the paragraph’s main idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “financial stability,” “professional achievement,” “well-being,” and “motivated,” which helps express the main ideas. There are also attempts at topic-specific phrasing such as “leisure activities” and “physical and mental health problems.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, including “personal works,” “get offers like hike,” and “less interest in work and more in their hobbies.” Spelling errors such as “finincial” and “empolyee” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural combinations and check spelling carefully; for example, describe a salary increase as a “pay rise” and say that someone “places greater importance on” an activity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If they doesn’t concentrate on work” and a relative clause in “a person who works hard to become a doctor.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Subject–verb agreement is incorrect in “the people shows” and “they doesn’t,” and the opening sentence contains a confusing repeated “while” construction. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “work has significant role” and “In other words they spend less time…” Add the missing article and comma, and revise the opening into a clearer sentence. More accurate control of agreement and clause structure would make your argument easier to read.
