Student answer (Band 5.5)
Since birth, work has been the main goal in every individual's life. we study to work, we practice to work and we rest also to work again in the next day. At this point, wide range of people regard work as the most important thing in life and have little interest in anything else. While Others are more enthusiastic about their hobbies and leisure interests than their jobs. From my perspective, work can be crucial as much as our hobbies and we should focus on balancing both of them to develop our lives.
On the one hand, no one denies that work is very crucial in every individuals life. It is the best way to guarante your future and provide all your basic needs, such as food and housing.
Billions of students nowadays are giving their best only to have the opportunity of working, ignoring any other interests in activities because they are convinced about the fact that your job is the only thing that can has a real impact on your future self and your financial circumstances.
For instance, a lot of athlets spend so much time on their habits instead of working in a real job end up unemployed as a result they no longer have a financial income.
On the other hand, many people have succeeded in their lives thanks to their hobbies. They followed their dreams and worked hard on proving them selves to the world, not only that but also sucrificed all their time, money and took the risk just to follow an unknowen path.
For instance, Cristiano ronaldo is the greatest footbaler in the world, was extremely poor and he sacrificed all his time to the only thing that made him the most famous athlet of all time.
Some times it is more important to follow your hobbies more than your work, because your heart know that you are not made to be a simple worker.
I share the perspective that every individual should know how to balnce work and hobbies.
Leaving an open door for your hobbies and working on them from time to time can change your entire life someday, but i also see that working still very important to gurantee a better life quality while you are imroving your self. for that reason it is better to focus on both of them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both attitudes and state a clear preference for balance: “work can be crucial as much as our hobbies” and “we should focus on balancing both.” The two body paragraphs also give relevant examples, including students prioritising employment and Cristiano Ronaldo pursuing football. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The claim that athletes who spend time on hobbies “end up unemployed” is broad and does not clearly distinguish leisure hobbies from a career pursued through a passion; the Ronaldo example is also asserted rather than explained as evidence. Develop each side with more precise reasoning and make the relationship between work, leisure, and financial security clearer. The 29 words copied from the task prompt were not counted in the reported total; the length requirement is met.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting contrasting attitudes, and a conclusion that restates your view. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several ideas are joined in long, loosely connected sentences. For example, the sentence about athletes moves from spending time on hobbies to unemployment and financial income without clearly showing the reasoning. The conclusion repeats the balancing position but does not bring the two arguments together. Use clearer topic sentences, separate distinct points, and make links between claims and examples explicit. More precise referencing would also help readers follow what “them” and “that” refer to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “financial circumstances,” “basic needs,” “sacrificed,” and “follow their dreams.” These choices help communicate the contrast between employment and personal interests. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “work,” “important,” and “thing,” and some word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “habits” for hobbies and “proving them selves to the world.” Spelling errors such as “guarante,” “athlets,” and “unknowen” are noticeable and reduce precision. Aim for more exact topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully; this will make your arguments easier to understand and sound more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, using structures such as “While others are more enthusiastic…” and “because they are convinced…,” so there is some variety. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “your job is the only thing that can has,” “Cristiano Ronaldo … was extremely poor and he sacrificed,” and “working still very important,” where verb forms or sentence construction need correction. Agreement and articles are also inconsistent, as in “every individuals life” and “your heart know.” Capitalisation and punctuation need attention too, particularly sentence openings and the final paragraph. Practise checking each sentence for a complete clause, correct verb form, and agreement.
